Guest guest
Terribly, I must have spent 30 minutes writing an update for this thread Sunday night, November 4th. Somehow it never made it to the website. There must be a time limit. What a waste. Anyway, here's an extremely brief overview... The Humira DID begin to take effect on my 6th and 7th dose. I'm currently on my 9th dose and am currently at about 75% of the pain relief I was getting from Remicade. This includes Indocin, MTX and Ultram which I was also taking with the Remicade. My psoriasis has improved to " as good or better. " My doctor says I can switch back to Remicade anytime I want now that my health provider has been staightened out as far as billing goes. I asked if switching back and forth between the two would throw my immune system out-of-whack and she said no. The Remicade should work as good as it did before. I'm open to any words that back up what she said. Either by members here or to links to other websites that address the " back and forth " switching. Thanks for listening. There! that only took 7 minutes. Hopefully, this one will make it. ~;^)
Guest guest
I am switching from Remicade to Humira because I ran out of funding for the Remicade. I wanted to hear from people who have done this and how it went for you. I took my first dose of Humira four days ago and I continue to get worse. Any feed back, good or bad, would be appreciated. -Eileen
