Guest guest
le, I think My daughter's doctor was referring to research Eva Sapi presented at the ILADS Conference 2009. You're right that it's not totally new- tindamax is all over the internet for cysts. Maybe it's the research part of it. Anyway, the research was done in test tubes, not patients. It showed that tindamax + a tetracycline killed all spirochetes and cysts. Doxy killed spirochetes, but increased cyst formation. Tindamax/flagyl alone reduced cysts, but did not eliminate them. Here's the link I found... see: " An in vitro evaluation of antibiotic susceptibility of different morphological forms of Borrelia burgdorferi " http://www.lymeneteurope.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5 & t=2776
