Introduction: Teenager with Lyme, Bart, Ehrliciosis

Hi,

Just joined this site. Our 14 yr old has been fighting Lyme and co, since 5/

2008.

She was only treated for 8 weeks back in 2008 for Lyme.

May 2009, we finally saw a LLMD. She was diagnosed with bart and Erhliciosis,

Mycoplasma P., Lyme

She has been treating since 6/2009. She was on Mino and Rifampin.

She just discontinued the Rifampin and is slowly starting Cipro and continuing

the Mino, will at some point add in Tindamax only two days a week.

Has any ones children taken Cipro for Bartonella? It seems to be stirring up

some anxiety and nervousness, etc. I think it may be a herx, but worried that

she may not be able to tolerate another med.

any input is so appreciated. Thanks
