Kaiser Permanente?

I just started going to Kaiser here in Oakland CA. I had a weird experience

and I wonder if anyone else has had this.

For any of you who remember me, I am the one who had a really hard time

starting to take pain meds. I finally started taking them and I am getting

my life back.

Well at Kaiser I told my new family doc how much Vicodin I took everyday

and she is demanding that I go to pain management and tapper down and take a

less dangerous medication.

I am in shock. I take these meds because I am in chronic pain. I am so

upset, angry and hurt that someone who does not know me or my history would

make such a statement.

I have other insurance and I have deiced I will not go back to Kaiser again

for care other than emergency care or something like that.

Has anyone else had this type of experience at Kaiser?
