Guest guest
Hi Joan, I too am always interested to find out what other people do to cope with this disease. Being able to cope is huge for me because I have been unable to make the adjustments and don't know how to cope. The few changes I have made are of course no alcohol; lots of fruits, veggies and whole grains. Aside from the small dietary changes I am completely lost and have almost no quality of life to speak of. Lori in AZ
Guest guest
The biggest thing I've found is that I have to pace myself. If I'm having a good day instead of going gung ho on cleaning and catching up on things I take it nice and slow just like I do on bad days. If I don't it catches up with me the next couple of days and knocks me on my ass. It seems there is no predicting when I'll feel good or bad. Surprisingly yesterday I felt really good I took minimal pain medication and spent the day doing very little. No overworking at all, then today all heck broke loose. No matter what I do I hurt and feel like I got run over by a truck. Celeste
