Guest guest Posted January 14, 2008 Report Share Posted January 14, 2008 So I have come to the conclusion that my medication is no longer effective. Been on Methotrexate (Immune suppresant MTX) for about 18 mths and celebrex for about 2 years. MTX was great for the first 12 months I did'nt need the celebrex anymore and life was great. Now my poor joints are inflammed and I have a new affected joint to add to the list (please welcome my middle finger on my left hand to the team). Went to see my GP on Saturday but she had a family emergency and I had to see another no so good dr. He gave me Meloxicam (Mobic) to try. Well after 2 days on it I can say it does nothing. Not only that but according to shaun it has a reaction to the MTX oh goody. So I'm waiting to see the dr next door as a quick fix (he might give me somthing that might just work) until I see myy wizbang GP on Saturday.
