Guest guest
my prayers are with you and your family- i have 3 grown sons, and i have hoped and still hope they don't get this disease. if insurance doesn't cover a biologic, go to healthwell.com- i have praised this organization over and over. when my husband was lai off, we couldn't afford my humira, $500 copay BEFORE the donut hole. w/unemployment and my disability we made too much for any other govt assistance or maker assistance, but the makers of Enbrel gave me healthwell's name. it is a nonprofit who catagorizes diseases-aid- least common diseases=more available funds.after 3 idiot rheumies, i only go to a dermatologist who is able to prescribe Humira for my psoriasis.SO, i get assistance from their psoriasis fund. $4000 a year. i reapply each year, my husband has a good job now w/good insurance so i won't need them anymore. it is income based, but it was a life saver for me and i don't hesitate to praise them. i have posted a dozen times on here about them. good luck, stay hopeful-remember, treatment has come a looong way even since i got sick in the mid 90's. susan in ohio
