Hello all,

My 11 yr old daughter has been on various ab's for 1 year now, being

treated by Dr. J. in New Haven. She has mostly improved but has been

kind of stagnating. She's had a headache non-stop and muscle pain all

over for 1 1/2 years. The intensity of her pain is better than before

she started ab's and she has recovered her energy. She developed a

really bad case of asthma last September and has been on Flovent ever

since (never had asthma before). She now has constant pressure on/in

her chest and we don't know if it's Lyme or lungs(asthma). She

sometimes gets weird symptoms when she gets sick with a cold (numb

face, clicking in her ears that I can hear).

Here's my most pressing question. I strongly feel that we should be

using alternative/herbal remedies in conjunction with the ab's, as

support and to add extra power to her treatment. We are in NYC and

have I looked into naturopaths at " Innersource " or getting a

telephone consult with an herbalist in Vermont (Buhner protocol). I

like the idea of someone close to home taking control of her

treatment in a holistic way, but I also think that the Buhner

protocol has been somewhat tried and proven. Does anyone have any

experience with either for their children? Does anyone know the

naturopaths at Innersource (5th ave), or can you recommend one in NYC?

P.S. I've heard great things about raw cows' milk, interesting that

it could cure(?) Lyme. Maybe it has to do with the cows own natural

defenses making it into the milk and being transmitted to the drinker?

Thank you!

Aviva
