Guest guest
Chris: Pardon me for jumping in to give my version of the answer you wanted from Phil. I had similar problems at age 58 and 230 lbs. I've been on T injections for over 3 years now and am greatly improved. I'm still above 200 lbs, but have gained a lot of muscle and lost a lot of fat. My blood pressure, glucose level and cholesterol are all about where they should be. T will give you enough of a kick-start to let you begin a program of exercise and diet. I say take what he offers and try to convince him to let you do your own shots on a weekly basis. The overall dose remains the same, you just inject .5 mL weekly instead of 2.0 mL monthly. Maybe after a brief hiatus, he will let you have another cycle. Yes, the Aromatase enzymme lives in adipose (fat) tissue and it will convert some testosterone to estradiol, but it won't convert all of it. You will still be better off with the testosterone. You know that like millions of people worldwide you have metabolic syndrome. The results are predictable, and horiffic. Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke and an early and unconfortable death. If you can only walk 100 yards or around the block, do that daily and try to do it twice a day. Use whatever boost the T gives you to exercise and eat less. One good thing is that carrying 260 lbs around the block will burn more calories than a 170 pound person would burn. Yet another unpleasant fact.... No amount of exercise will lead to weight loss without a drastic reduction in caloric intake. I'm sure Britain has the equivilent of Weight Watchers or Craig. Sign up and stay with it. I can tell you from experience that if you apply a constant amount of effort in exercise and diet, you will find your capability to exercise will increase almost exponentially. Best Wishes, Randy Hoops Springfield, MO > > he just kept saying lose weight. i said how hard it is to exercise, do anything, i am weak i said. he then decided to offer a 3 month of T treatment to boost me he said, 3x monthly injections. > > i have been told that if i take T now it will turn into estragen. is this right? in which case I have no hope really do i? > > thank you > > chris >
Guest guest
I am no doctor but I know that being overweight can create fatigue. When people loose the excess pounds they always seem to say how much energy that have. 230 is pretty heavy unless you are about 6 feet 4. Maybe if the doctor gives you enough testosterone and Arimidex, your estradiol with be down low and the testorone will give you the energy to get the pounds off. My doc put me on 1 cc a week of testostone and half a Arimidex 3 times a week. I am loosing weight without really trying. I did cut out the extra starches (which I love), and avoid extra coke or pepsi. So far it seems to be working. Oh, and the doc said not to eat after 7 pm because that doesn't get burned. Bill From: chrisjtaylor46@... Date: Wed, 8 Dec 2010 23:03:12 +0000 Subject: Too fat? Hi Phil to cut a long story short, i saw a rubbish dr today, in the UK regarding my low T levels. latest test result at 9am, 8.3, range 7.5 - 27 I think. Oestradiol last month was 48, range 50-several hundred. this dr said all my prboelms were down to being overweight, all of them. he was very rude and unpleaant. i am 260lbs. my T is 8.3. when I was at 224lbs, my T was 9.2 . When I was at 203lbs, i still had symptoms of fatigue, low mood, sennsitivity to cold etc, inability to build muscle. i am age 31, nearly 32. I have very high LDL and triglyeride levels, triglys about 7.5 i think, normal was <1.5 , fasting blood sugar was ok, 5.0, range <6.0 Phil, what do you think is going onhere? do you think Low T is causing myh being too fat, or the low T is causing problems? In my late teens early 20s i went impotent for 2 years, couldn't do a thing, no morning wood i think you call it there, nothing, took 2 yrs to recover. this dr would not give me anything to help at first, he would not give metformin, tho i gather this can help with metabolic syndrome which he said i had. he kept going on about orlistat, i do not want that rubbish. he just kept saying lose weight. i said how hard it is to exercise, do anything, i am weak i said. he then decided to offer a 3 month of T treatment to boost me he said, 3x monthly injections. i have been told that if i take T now it will turn into estragen. is this right? in which case I have no hope really do i? Phil please can you offer some advice or thoughts on this, what is happening here, is this man talking bs? should i take something like DIM now and see if that helps? I had symptoms even when i slim. when i went impotent in my 20s i was about 155lbs, how can this be weight related unless the Low T's been there ages and is now causing this? Please help i am very depressed and despndent about this i don't know what to do or think now. thank you chris

Guest guest
I don't like to talk over a Dr. but he is wrong low Testosterone causes weight gain. Men can't lose weight because there fatigue is so high and the low T is not supporting there joints and muscles. Going on TRT may or may not make your Estradiol levels go higher not all men have this problem. But even if you do have this problem taking 50 mgs Zinc with 2 mgs Copper helps keep Estraidol levels lower and adding in Indolplex/DIM or taking the med Arimidex to keep it down is a small price to pay to feel better. I don't know what the units of your Estradiol levels are but if they are pmol/L your levels are to low you need to be up at 74 pmol/L and low Testosterone can give you low Estraidol levels being this low will kill your penis you can't get it up taking Viagra or slamming a door on it. You need to be on TRT I would try to see a privet Dr. and go on Tesogel 5 grams to start and retest to be sure it's working if not go up to 10 grams. 3x monthly injections that is a shot every 10 days if it's nibido that might help but every 10 days of Sustanon 100 mgs still might help but 250 mgs would be better. Your Estradiol levels are to low going on them shots being your in the UK can't do harm to you might be a big help try it. Guest guest
Bill he is in the UK his Estradiol labs are in pmol/L he is very low the sweet spot for him would be 74 pmol/L = 20 pg/ml in our units. He dose not need Arimidex. Guest guest
Hi Phil Thank you for replying. You sure are right about fatigue, and i do feel weak and tired, jsut the thought of any exercise other than very slow walking stresses me out. on the ocasions ive tried doing weights say, i feel stressed, can't lift anything hardly, and am wiped out for days! this dr i saw was a diabetes specialist (so he claimed). he also said he was a specialist in all other hormones; i didn't get that impression from him. > But even if you do have this problem taking 50 mgs Zinc with 2 mgs Copper helps keep Estraidol levels lower and adding in Indolplex/DIM or taking the med Arimidex to keep it down is a small price to pay to feel better. would i start taking taht as soon as i was on the T? > I don't know what the units of your Estradiol levels are but if they are pmol/L your levels are to low you need to be up at 74 pmol/L and low Testosterone can give you low Estraidol levels being this low will kill your penis you can't get it up taking Viagra or slamming a door on it. They are pmol/L yes. It is weird sometimes even at this level of T and Estradiol, i have excess sexual function and other problmes. i wonder if that is down to lower porlactin? then other times, i have very litte response or 'aiblity' it seems to vary and i don't know why. You need to be on TRT I would try to see a privet Dr. and go on Tesogel 5 grams to start and retest to be sure it's working if not go up to 10 grams. this man was private! he was very rude and unhelpful though, said my levels were normal. the problem is hnow i've seen 3 drs, the first one was good, said my T levels were low, wanted to do an MRI etc, but i couldn't afford treatment with him so i got referred to an NHS dr who was very dismissive, and this last one is also hopeles, and very rude with it. > 3x monthly injections that is a shot every 10 days if it's nibido that might help but every 10 days of Sustanon 100 mgs still might help but 250 mgs would be better. Your Estradiol levels are to low going on them shots being your in the UK can't do harm to you might be a big help try it. This man said it would be an injection once a month, i'm 90% sure of that. are you saying you think that 250 sustanon ever 10 days would be better than 250 sustanon every month (4 weeks/28 days?)??? see this guy isn't even giving me a proper protocol is he. friend of mine takes sustaonon 250 and he says it lasts about 3-4 weeks in him. Guest guest
OK Yes start on 50 mgs of Zinc with 2 mgs of Copper now men need this anyway. I used this for yrs. did great on it the link is for info. http://www.myvitanet.com/zincop100cnt.html Yes lower levels of porlactin can make your sex drive go very high. But when this happens it can also be your Estraidol levels coming up into the sweet spot. Estraidol levels are never the same from day to day or week to week in people they move up and down and for most people they go higher at night when we are sleeping. Some of the best Dr.'s I have seen are rude and seam to talk down at us. As you get to know them you find out they come across this way but they are not like this. Yes if your Dr. will only give you one shot / per month and it is a big shot of Sustanon 250 mgs try it. Some men do real good on it others do better at 100 mgs / week of Sustanon. Go to Amazon.com and get this book. Testosterone: A Man's Guide [Paperback] http://tinyurl.com/24w6vma I am reading this book right now it is a must read. Guest guest
If you see your not doing better and the Dr. will not give it to you more offten just stop taking it. In time if you keep taking it it will shut down your brain from telling your body to make it. I can't see your Dr. doing this if your on the shot and you do labs the day of your next shot but before it and your levels are low. He should up your dose or do the shots more offten. Pellets are good if you can get 1300 to 1500 mgs put in this should last you 2.5 to 3 months. Guest guest
Hi Phil Also, with regards to this prolactin/hypersexuality thing (which i've sometimes suffered from), do you feel there is any danger that T could trigger this hypersexuality in someone prone to it? I am concrned that this might happen, and thought about getting some T gel to try for a few days to see if i suddenly got this problem again. if i did, then of course i don't think i'd try the T injection thanks chris > > > philip georgian <pmgamer18@> wrote: > > > > > > > > OK > > > > > > > > Yes start on 50 mgs of Zinc with 2 mgs of Copper now > > > men need this anyway.
