Called *boutique* medicine :) ---doctors protecting themselves from uncertain

healthcare system in the future is my take--they make minimum of what they need

to keep the lifestyle from the *annual fee* they have become accustomed to and

the patient, well who knows---one doc I got the letter from used it to drop

Medicare patients from the practice and the *club* never seemed to get off the

ground despite being in high rent district...sounded good, personal

email/special access/return phone calls from doc himself...but the reality is

more like everyone has a need to get and take insurance at this point, until

that process becomes even more corrupt (if possible)...would be nice to see what

they intend to do *for you* for the fee---EL

From his letter saying they called me and did a survey of things I would like to

see work better. I never got such a call so I feel it's a come on trying to

tell us he is joining this MDVIP to meet changes we talked about in the survey

that I never did.

So for this extra money now waiting to see the Dr. and one can get same day

appointments. And if I need to talk to him I can call him 24/7.

I all ready have this and this is what I will get for this money. He will still

bill me for seeing him and my BCBS and Medicare. So I am paying for BCBS and

every SS check I get money goes to Medicare.

I see this as a very dumb move on his part with the times the way they are and

everyone low on money and jobs. One big thing that is killing us is the high

cost of Insurance,Drugs and seeing ones Dr.

It like he is yes trying to maintain his life style by saying he is cutting his

practice down to 600.

From what I have seen here in MI. with all the Auto lay offs and people out of

work with no insurance he has low over half his practice.

He says I will be getting a personal invitation to a meeting he is hosting in

Jan where we will lean about the affiliation with MDVIP and how they will

benefit me. All I see here is a meeting to con me out of my money.

Both my grown kids were out of work for 4 yrs we help them pay there bills and

keep there house and supported the Grand Kids. I am not alone in having to have

done this I don't even feel this is over yet it can get worse. What makes him

think people in this economy are going to give him this kind of money just to

keep seeing him.

I can't see giving him $1500 to $1800 for me and to add my wife add $1500 to

1800 more. When I spent my nest egg helping my kids and they may still need my

help.

From what I am reading doing searching about MDVIP it's a scam even Dr. are

being ripped off with MDVIP he is not his own boss anymore he has to follow

there rules.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en & lr= & q=mdvip+scam & aq=1 & aqi=g10 & aql=f & oq=MDVIP & \

gs_rfai=

As for your higher levels of (hemoglobin/hematocrit) this is not as far as I

know from Iron it's your blood getting thicker. I have higher levels and I have

low Iron levels need Iron pills.

Yes try your shots 2x's / wk this helps and make sure you Drink a good 8 glass's

of water / day. I make sure I drink a good 48 oz's of water the morning of my

labs. If your Dehydrated your labs will be higher for (hemoglobin/hematocrit).

If Dr. s will not see me unless I join MDVIP I will have no choice but

find a new Dr. or drive up to Lansing and see Dr. . If I join MDVIP they

are not on my BCBS's list of approved Dr.'s and I don't have $1500 to give

anyway.
