Mirtazapine alone is known for increasing appetite (and consequent weight gain).

Sometimes it takes a while to show up as increased body mass.

Otherwise, Arimidex might take a little while to bring your estradiol down for a

sufficient time to notice a difference.

If you are taking Isocort and HC both (is there a reason why both?), could be

that your cortisol is too high which will cause water retention/weight gain. EL

Could be the type food you are eating.Craving carbs? I have put on about 20 lbs

since being on test.I monitor every bite I eat and eating habits have never

changed.Didn't really think it was all muscle but in reality it prob is.Can

really tell it with a tight shirt as my arms look pretty cut thru it.Always had

skinny arms with little definition.Also my abdominal obliques are very

noticeable.Bottom line is my body fat is lower than when I first begun, so total

weight is not an issue.Phil

If you exercising more muscle adds weight to your body. If your not holding

water that is all I can think of.

Could be.

Everything I've read on Isocort says not to exceed 8 pellets. I feel like

that's pretty good advice since I don't know exactly what is in the product.

Some days I feel like I still have that " dumping " feeling and need more

cortisone. I never go over 40mg total.

Thanks. I tried going to straight cortef and felt worse. I think I'm getting

some other adrenal hormones that I need from Isocort. Maybe Norepinephrine,

maybe Aldosterone. Don't know. It's just that some days the 8 pellets don't do

enough so I add 5 - 20mg of cortef.

I have used isocort and am now on cortef.

I have to disagree with the manufacturer on the '2.5mg' of cortisol per

pellet... For me, I would be it was around 1.5mg if that... I was using more

than 8 pellets and at that point decided to go with just HC.
