Hey Group,

I've noticed that over the last 2-3 years that I have excessive hair growth

on my forearms, eyebrows and ears. I'm also losing my hair on my scalp. The

strange thing is that I'm only 32 and no one in my family, going back 4

generations on both sides, has gone bald. Neither my brother nor my father,

who is 65, has hair on their forearms or ears. Any info is greatly

appreciated.

Regards,

I got hair on my shoulders and back. It sucks. Then again, I was pretty hairy

naturally. I'm half Italian.

You mean Italians and Romanians are the same? I didn't understand your reply.

Either way, its being European. Same thing, we're hairy.

I imagine that many folks would like to be able to figure that out. Can you say

'instant billionaire' with a 'real' cure for going bald?

I have always been a hairy guy, but the nose and ear stuff picked up in my mid

forties. Now with my low T I am losing a percentage of body hair, but the hair

on my head is still doing pretty good although not as thick as it was a few

years ago.

I thought it might be and excessive or depleted hormone since I never had

this before I began having symptoms. Oh well, if I do figure it out, I'll

let y'all know (unless I can patent and sell it first )

Keep in mind I am not on TRT yet.

That may explain my thinning body hair, and preservation of most of the hair on

my head. You didn't say if you were on TRT on not in this thread.

From what I have read TRT can induce body hair growth, and also a loss of the

hair on your head. I believe it has to do with the conversion to DHT. Start

using Nizoral shampoo whether it's scrip 2% or the OTC 1% stuff,.....it helps.

I have also had good luck with Nioxin myself, but take that for what it's worth

which is nothing much. I would stay away from Propecia though. I am actually

prepared to shave my head close if I have to go on TRT and it falls out.

I've only been on TRT for a couple of months and this started 3 years ago.

So, I know it isn't from the TRT (although this is probably exacerbating it

a bit).

Thanks.

No not the same but close at least this is what my Dad told me. Yet he died at

age 70 with a full head of hair all black with a little gray. His body was not

hairy.
