Guest guest
Has anyone else experienced muscle soreness that occurs 48 hours or more after exercise and that doesn't subside for days afterwards? My inner thigh muscles and right hamstring are so tight and sore and I have done nothing that could account for it since I did " gentle yoga " on Thursday evening. I used to be one of those people who was more sore 48 hours after a hard workout than the day after but, exercising the same muscles again would resolve most of the soreness and it would totally subside after another couple of days. Last week on Sunday I worked out legs for the first time since winter (due to the adductor and ankle injuries) - and not even that hard. The day following I was a little sore, but normal. Two days later I woke up with R hamstring hard as iron and aching so bad that I could seriously barely walk on it all day. The next day it was significantly better and, the day after that I went to gentle yoga, which really isn't that rigorous, but it does involve a fair amount of stretching and strain on the legs. Again, I was pretty much fine on Friday and Saturday, hams were a little tight but not bad. Yesterday I went to stretch and the ham felt like I pulled it and it's just as bad today. I know that this part of my over-all syndrome/illness but I'm just wondering if anyone has the same kind of problem. I am not currently taking any kind of TRT or other sex hormone supplementation but I do take T4 and T3 for thyroid. Last labs showed me as slightly hyperT although I feel more like hypo.
