Cypionate has been unavailable for more than 6 weeks

Hi,

I just hopped onto this group. I have been prescribed Cyp for over a decade for

hypogonadism. At one point, I think around 1998, the med was off pharmacy

shelves for quite some time, presumably from some quality control issues from

the FDA and manufacturers.

The pharmacists always just says " shortage " .

Has anyone else experience this " shortage " " backorder " " unavailable " going on

lately? I just called my local Costco and they said they finally have one

bottle on the shelf, although the price has increased maybe $15 or $20 for the

10mL. Since my original RX has expired almost 2 weeks ago, I will need to get

a new RX written.
