Guest guest
Great, Dennis. Enjoy your retirement, mine’s still a ways down the road to consider, I’m just waiting for social security to run out of money, then I’ll probably retire. Not giving up your wood chopping are you? I suppose it depends on the place you find in Maine… -dz- -----Original Message----- From: [mailto: ]On Behalf Of Dennis Sent: Thursday, November 17, 2005 6:31 PM To: Subject: Re: [ ] Hi Everyone Hey - guess what? I'm retiring! And - we sold our house - and are moving to Norway Maine! A little scary because we haven't found a place there yet. I feel sad about leaving friends where I've worked for 32 years but on the other hand this will be a great adventure. Can't wait to get a dog and chickens again. Wow! Guest guest
The moving company loaded us up last Friday. We left Az early Saturday morning & got here in Missiouri "at my sister inlaw's" today. Our house in Az is supose to close Wednesday & we are suppose to close here on Thuresday. The moving company had another load to drop off in Denver before coming here & was suppose to be here Friday morning. But they called & said that with the storm that is going through between there & here. They closed I70, so the truck is sitting somewhere. Once we are all settled in, I will start looking foe a new job. That is a little scarry. I haven't had to look for a job in almost 23 years. Lissting what I what I made in Az is a lot higher then they pay here, I'm consernd a lot of employers will be consernd that I wouldn't stay long term. I'm just praying that I find something that pays enough for us to live on & has insurance that we can afford. Guest guest
I did much the same thing when I left Denver. I was looking for a job in Wisconsin while I was still living in Denver, I had a headshrinker looking on my behalf and put piles of resumes out when I was here for a visit, but that wasn’t working. I finally bit the bullet and quit my job, moved down here and started looking. Though my wife and son stayed in Denver until I had a job, a place, etc. I started out making less than I was in Denver, but I’ve made it up. I imagine the cost of living is much lower in Missouri than Arizona. Good luck on your jobhunt. -dz- -----Original Message----- From: [mailto: ]On Behalf Of Terry Long Sent: Monday, November 28, 2005 5:07 PM To: Subject: RE: [ ] Hi Everyone The moving company loaded us up last Friday. Guest guest
Back in the 80’s I suffered from a skin rash, I broke out anytime I was out in the sun too much. My dr told me it could be some rare disease, that usually affects native Americans, or lupus. They took a biopsy to determine whether it was lupus or not. This is external, they clipped two pieces out of my arm. It hurt like hell for a minute or two, but they just took like a ¼ inch pinch. I got the results in a week or so. Actually I have since found out that this was probably an effect of hcv, it reduces your ability to metabolize sunshine. It’s not completely gone, but its much better. I have to keep the sunscreen handy. -dz- -----Original Message----- From: [mailto: ]On Behalf Of Janet Sent: Thursday, December 01, 2005 10:24 AM To: Subject: RE: [ ] Hi Everyone Morning Dave!! Guest guest
Finally - we found a place in Maine - just above South Paris. It was the last of 25 we looked at. We got a good deal - Gambrel log home w / 2 car garage and 12 acres of field and woods for $250,000. We have to be out of our place by January 18. I have a 48 foot box trailer coming next week and I will fill it with no problem. I'm filling the third big roll off dumpster too. The snow has started here - supposed to get up to a foot. Guest guest
Hi Sirine! Welcome to the group! Your symptoms sure sound like Candida Overgrowth and it's not all in your head. You can choose to treat this yourself or find a good naturopathic doctor. After seeing over 60 health practitioners over the years, I'm still struggling to find someone to help me. I've been on a No Yeast, No Sugar diet since Feb. Have lost 17 lbs. Wish I could be more help. Good luck, Beth Hi everyone I'm new to this group and recently diagnosed myself with Candida. I don't even know where to start.... About 8 years ago I all of the sudden had severe cough attacks, short breath and was always in and out of the hospitals. The doctors told me I had bronchitis, so I was given atibiotics for about 3-6 months off and on. I still had the symptoms even though the antibiots helped somewhat. Then I went to see specialists, more doctors and finally was told I had asthma, not bronchitis.HMPH! I was then given cortisone steroids which has helped me tremendisly with the above symptoms. I have now been on the cortisone off and on for 5 years. (but has been a year since I have used it) Now within those 5 years I developed major allergies and post nasal drips and flemn constantly for almost 3 years now..and NOTHING has helped..NOTHING. So the doctors suggested surgery. I thought hmmmm maybe I should just wait. So I didn't do it. Also 3 years ago I became pregnant and had a beautiful baby girl. I then developed yeast infection, which the doctors told me was normal after pregnancy. Ok..didn't think anything of it....3 years later NOTHING is working to cure it! And just 2 weeks ago I started developing major stomach pains whenever I ate something that I always had eaten..and it was like I all of the sudden developed an allergy towards it (whatever the food was) and I also noticed my yeast infection was getting worse. So I decided to do a search on google and Candida comes up. So I did A LOT of reading and there were so many more symptoms that I have, like headaches, my toes have been killing me (docs said I have an infection) depression, anxiety attacks, I don't even like talking to anyone anymore (even friends and family) It's weird..That's not me! I felt like I had won a million bucks when I read all that I did...because now EVERYTHING makes sense. I now want to cry..... I have never heard of this before and I am shocked. There are so many symptoms that can make a person feel so alone. I am glad I found this chat group. I need to know..where do I start? How do I get rid of this THING? I am only 26 and feel like I'm an old person (no offense to anyone out there) I just want to feel like me again. Sorry for the long post...I really needed to get that off my chest! My husband thinks I'm just putting this all in my head. But I think I finally found out what is really wrong with me..I hope! Any info on what my first, second, third step is would be greatly appreciated! And I hope you are all doing well and getting rid of this monster! Thanks Sirine
Guest guest
Hi Sirine--sounds like you are in the right place. I've been from systemic Candidiasis to cancer and back to Candidiasis again (this sucker even outlasts cancer)... and it all started with me being prescribed antibiotics for a VIRAL infection. This was back when I still believed doctors (ten years ago). Cortisone is a contributor to this problem, any steroidal medication can exacerbate it. In the beginning when I started having all the weird symptoms, I was told to see a shrink by many people with MD after their name. I too have had Candida-related depression (and it is just depressing anyway--couldn't eat much of what I liked since I had about 30 food allergies on top of everything else). It wasn't until a family friend found out about me and told my mother I was not crazy, and to go see a kinesiologist and Chinese doctor who handled cases like mine. This alternative doctor told me again that I was not only not crazy, but that I was just the tip of the iceberg--pollution and pharmaceutical-induced illnesses are a growing class of " diseases of civilization " . Lucky us. I've been through a lot of treatments, diets and protocols, NAET, herbs, BioSET, offshore cancer therapies, VEGA testing and homeopathy in Europe, alternative therapies in Australia and EPFX and energy-based medicine here in California. Congrats on finding out what you are dealing with, and good luck. Alison :-) > > I'm new to this group and recently diagnosed myself with Candida. Guest guest
Hi Alison Thanks for the welcome. I hope you are doing well and are cancer free now! SOunds like you have gone through a tough time...I'm sorry to hear that. This " thing " is all that is on my mind now ever since I read about it. Why haven't I heard of this Candida before? It almost seems like A LOT of people have it! I'm learning more and more everyday about what life is really like. Doctors? That's a whole different topic. I don't speak for all doctors, just the one's that have treated me. (About 15) I'm going to try to look for a kinesiologist or Chinese doctor like you mentioned. Well I'm glad I found this site and I look forward to chating with you later.... Sirine > > > > I'm new to this group and recently diagnosed myself with Candida. Guest guest
Hi Sirine, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 9/91 along with my IBS, allergies, depression, etc, etc. I've had health problems most of my life so it's hard to say when the Candida grew out of control. May of had it since birth. Took a lot of antibiotics, birth control pills, and had a poor diet. I'm not as strict with the diet as I still eat some diary, fruit and wheat. Also, eating things that I probably have allergies or food sensitivies to. I feel the more you remove from your diet the harder it is to eat it ever again. Have heard that about vegetarians and my sister who has cut out a lot from her diet probably because of Candida. I didn't mind losing the 12 extra lbs. I had gained, but don't want to get to thin (today I'm 5'5 " , 125 lbs.) as I can't work and don't want to have to buy a whole new wardrobe even though I could use one. Have a nice weekend! Guest guest
Hi Joyce, here, and you are my first post since I joined up yesterday. My 16 year old daughter Makayla has been treating first with antibiotics IV Rocephin and Doxycicline and Zithromax (spelling) for two months and then salt/c for the past 10 months with lots of improvements but We added in Bruhner's herbals starting back in April. This was one of many things we are trying after I watched dvds from 2006 Lyme and Neurotoxin conference which was hosted by Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt. He recommended Bruhner's book and said he was having great results with many of his Lyme patients using these protocols.I hope it is alright to mention his name in regards to his conference. My daughter is still on salt/c as we are doing both. Her naturpath in Santa isusing these protocols as well. Guest guest
Hi , So glad you told me about this site. It will be great to hear of others experiences with this protocal. I have had permission from my Dr to use his name. He is an MD Homeopath and very into alternative healing but will use drugs if needed. He talks highly of Dr Klinghardt. He is having great results with the Healing Lyme protocal. I have not heard as many positives about a protocal until this one. I am so greatful to Bhuner for sharing this info. My dr's name is Dr Randy Baker drrandy.com. H e is such a sweetie. Oh I am still doing small doses of S & C. Take care & Makayla. Blessings Joyce Hey, we are long distance neighbors. Guest guest
You should be able to simply hit " forward " in your email browser and then choose who to send the email to. If you're receiving individual messages then only that message will be forwarded. If you're receiving the Digest version, you'll need to delete most of the messages before and after the message you want to forward. HOWEVER - I want to stress that sharing messages with others off list is inappropriate without first getting the author's permission. In fact it would probably be best to have the author send you a private message to your personal email address that could be designed to send to another. This allows the author the reread their message and rewrite anything that they do not want to share with a stranger. Sharing messages off list without permission will place this entire list in jeopardy. You may have already talked to the author about this, but I want to make sure my point is clear for all the members. This list needs to be a place where each person feels like they are safe when writing personal details about their life and/or treatment. Each of will need to work on that to ensure this is a supportive environment. =) Robynn > > Robynn, Is there a way to forward messages, I want to share the one from Tara with my dr.
