Guest guest
Is it true that if a guy who is on TRT " testosterone implants " puts on a couple stone that the body needs more testosterone leading to closer periods of testosterone supplement between implanting times? Guest guest
Hi orcman3001 and Welcome, Not many men here is the USA get Pellets the cost is very high and Dr's will not give enough of them to last 3 to 4 months. Men need more pellets to keep levels up most good Dr. give men over 200 lbs. 1500 mgs of Pellets this is 20 75mgs pellets. Then problem here is finding a Dr. that dose this back in the day some 20 yrs ago this was not a problem. Today Dr. charge a lot of money for them and don't give enough to last your even 3 months. One Dr. I talked to in my State told me he only gives 10 75 mgs of pellets the cost is about $1500 and it is only good he says for 8 weeks. I feel pellets would be a great way for men on TRT but Dr.'s here ripe us off for our money and most drug care plains don't cover the cost of this. Guest guest
Hi Phil, I currently take 4 X 200mg pellets . Just saw my endocrinologist and he changed the period between implanting to 4 months which he said will keep my levels more stable and compensate for the weight gain.Im around 170lbs. > > > From: orcman3001 <no_reply > > > Subject: weight gain and trt changes > > > > Date: Wednesday, August 11, 2010, 10:35 AM > > > > Is it true that if a guy who is on TRT " testosterone > > implants " puts on a couple stone that the body needs more > > testosterone leading to closer periods of testosterone > > supplement between implanting times? > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > >
Guest guest
That is 800 mgs I don't think from what I know about this that they will keep you leveled for 4 months. What are your levels on them now men I know on Pellets do a lot more pellets and they still don't last 3 months but they get up near 800 on there Total T levels. Guest guest
That's right Phil it varies. It keeps me within the accepted levels hopefully for the 4 months after each implant. It peaks at the half way mark but then gradually declines over the next 2 months.Usually at the half way mark I'm around 25nmol. The endo gets me to have a blood test 2 weeks before the next implants and if it is getting 2 low I use some gel to get the levels up again. I can really notice changes in the levels by the 3 month period. orcman > > > > > > > From: orcman3001 <no_reply > > > > > Subject: weight gain and trt > > changes > > > > > > > > Date: Wednesday, August 11, 2010, 10:35 AM > > > > > > > > Is it true that if a guy who is on TRT > > " testosterone > > > > implants " puts on a couple stone that the body > > needs more > > > > testosterone leading to closer periods of > > testosterone > > > > supplement between implanting times? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Well your lucky but I did not know at the time I did the pellets that I use up my T meds very fast and this might be why I went low so fast. I gave up on trying pellets a long time ago the cost is way to much and Dr.'s will not dose by how your TRT is I use about 200 mgs of Test C a week doing 80 mgs every 3 days. This keeps my Total T levels up in the 800's. The way Dr.'s here in Mi. what to give you pellets is to start you low and work your way up this is nuts I would crash and need more this would cost more and the beat goes on. Guest guest
It has been a long time since I visited and mentioned pellets. My experience with pellets goes back to 1991 when I started receiving 20 - 75 mg pellet under the skin on my hip below my belt every 4 months. The dosage goes back to Dr. Greenblatt who pioneered in hormone therapy as early as the 1950'w. Many of his journal articles still exist on the internet. Men who are no longer above 250 T should have their T elevated to above 800 to receive the full benefit of the therapy. Based on weight, subtract 30 pounds from the patients total weight and then for every 10 pounds remaining he should receive a 75 mg pellet. The body stops producing its own source of T when this starts and the pellets are the total source of T. Now 78 working at Lowe's in the electrical department feeling great. You can not feel great unless your level is over 800 IMHO. I have lost 2 endocrinologists due to their age, beginning in 1991 with Dr. Sipi of N. Bergen, NJ then Dr. Gambrell of Augusta, GA. Now being treated Dr. Natrajan also of Augusta (same office) who also treats patients in Atlanta on Fridays. I care for his web site: http://Natrajan.on-theweb.com Searching on the internet with appropriate keywords may find more these days. Testopel is expensive but the same strength as other cheaper 75 mg hormone pellets on the market. There are very few doctors providing hormone pellets but many do not give enough for the patient to enjoy the benefits. ernestnolan > > > > > > > > > From: orcman3001 <no_reply > > > > > > Subject: weight gain and trt > > > changes > > > > > > > > > > Date: Wednesday, August 11, 2010, 10:35 AM > > > > > > > > > > Is it true that if a guy who is on TRT > > > " testosterone > > > > > implants " puts on a couple stone that the body > > > needs more > > > > > testosterone leading to closer periods of > > > testosterone > > > > > supplement between implanting times? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > > > > > > >
