Let's talk about shrunken balls, shall we?

Hi Everyone-

I'm 43, I've been on Androgel since November of '08. With a lot of advice from

this forum, I was able to get my doctors to test appropriate hormone levels, do

a pituitary MRI, etc, before the decision was made to try TRT.

Two drawbacks...for whatever reason, they would not do a Chlomid test, to see if

I was primary or secondary, so I never found out, and secondly, no one in my

area will even discuss the use of HCG.

So, it's just the gel, which has certainly helped me, although I have no doubt I

could be doing better than I am...and now my balls have shrunken considerably.

I'm in the midst of changing doctors, due to an insurance change, so I'm going

to take another shot at adding HCG to my treatment.

First off, will the introduction of HCG restore size to my testes, and

secondly...WHY, are so many MDs afraid of HCG?
