Guest guest
Hi Mark and Welcome, Come south a little and see my Dr. s 248-377-0600 he is off I-75 at the University ext. Tell him Philip Georgian sent you. They can sleep apnea can bring on low T but I don't know anyone that got there levels back on going on the CPAP machine. My wife had this problem and could not use the machine she would rip it off her face in the middle of the night. And no one got any sleep from the dam noise it makes. All she needed to do was lose 40 lbs and her apnea was gone. I feel some of the sleep testing is telling everyone that does the test that they have it. When I had heart sugary a yr. ago last Nov. I was out cold 17 weeks and they put this machine on me to help me breath but it gave me big problems. So they ended up putting a tube down my throat to help me breathe. When I came to the Dr. at the Hosp. was from the sleep office and tried to tell me I needed this machine. Every time they put this dam thing on me I felt like I was trapped and would get panic feelings and I would rip it off. The alarm would go off and I would get it from the nurse but sill I don’t have sleep apnea and this Dr. would go from bed to bed telling people they needed this machine. I just don't know about this can't say if it's good a bad I think after seeing this Dr. telling everyone he seen they need it. I wonder if they do I know I don't need it. There are people that do need it and they don't sleep good at night and they stop breathing all night long so for them yes they need it. But they have symptoms of not sleeping and some can't say awake. So before you buy this machine try it out first my BCBS will not buy it because people can't stand using it so they rent it. If you don't get involuntary nocturnal erections that appear during REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep. Your Estradiol levels could well be low get some of this kind of DIM get this brand take one tablet at dinner time. In about 2 weeks your night time and morning wood will come back and if you have ED this will stop. http://www.iherb.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Pure-Rip-with-DIM-60-Tablets/12814?at=0 There is a lot of Junk sold out there this works after your wood comes back this means your Estradiol E2 levels are at there best level for you keep taking this but if your wood stops your E2 is going down to low. Just stop taking it and in a short time your wood will come back that day go back on it but cut the tablet in half. Keep track of your wood if you don't feel you had it the night before see if you can get it up before getting out of bed this is your gage to keeping your E2 in the sweet spot sounds bad but works gage your E2 levels by your wood. Guest guest
Mark, I have been using a CPAP machine for over ten years. It took awhile to get used to it but now I love it because it makes me feel one hell of a lot better. I don't know if sleep apnea can lower your T levels. I wouldn't think so but maybe because apnea stresses your body big time. One side effect of T therapy is sleep apnea oddly enuf. But it has never been a problem for me and I have been o androgel for four years now. Good luck, Rob Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry How much Dim do you recommend taking? Went for my fourth shot and got retested. Testosterone up in 550 range from low 200s Dr. did not test free testosterone this time. He was extremely upset when I approached him with my test requests. Said he would not test for estrogen was not needed. Asked me where I was getting my information told him on line he said are you paying them because you are paying me. Wanted to tell him for not much longer once I find a better DR. Any suggestions on doctors in Flint, MI. Still feel tired all day got tested for sleep apnea and was found to have it. Will be oing in for CPAP fitting. Could his have contributed to low testoterone. Thanks as always for advice and help.
Guest guest
Do you know what insurance he takes I have Health Plus. As for the apnea I think some is my weight but I know I have alot of problems staying awake last two months since this all began and I snore alot. Would high estrogen cause sleepiness and that state of being in a fog. It's gotten a little better as testoserone has went up but continues to be serious problem. Any advice. Would much appreciate. Still tired all the time. > > > From: mark k <pirate7272@...> > > Subject: How much Dim do you recommend taking? > > > > Date: Thursday, January 7, 2010, 7:23 PM > > Went for my fourth shot and got > > retested. Guest guest
Yes he takes all insurance and will give you HCG if you want it. High or low estradiol can do this or your Apnea is doing this there is a sleep office in his building. Guest guest
For me the CPAP machine has made a HUGE difference in how I feel. I dropped 20 lbs. Last year and my apnea was not as bad but I continue to use the machine. As odd as this might sound, I really like the machine. Probably because it has helped me so much. Prior to getting one I scared the hell out of my wife as I was always gagging and I would stop breathing dozens of times each nite. And then feel like shit the next day. This went on for years until I got the CPAP. I have blue cross ins. and they pay for it no problem. Good luck. Guest guest
Rob thanks for the post about it helping this is great I can't stand the dam machine but then I don't have that bad of a problem. If I can keep my weight down this helps me and when I go to bed I take a Halls it opens everything up.
