Guest guest
" Is this true that androgel converts easily to estrogen???? " The extent in which androgel turns to estrogen is dependent upon the amount of aromitase activity that takes place in the body of the person that the gel is being applied to. One of the most common denominators to aromitase activity other than the enzyme itself is adipose tissue or fat. Thus in theory if you apply the androgel to a part of the body that has a significant layer of fat, chances are you will have a higher rate of aromitization of T to E than if you were to apply the androgel to an area such as the inner wrist which typically has very litte fat. When Androgel was fresh out on the market, the directions used to say that you should apply the gel to the abdomen, but I noticed that the application instructions changed some time down the road. I believe that the directions now say to put the androgel on the upper arms.
