Re: Latest bloodwork!

So you just skip the gel the morning you do the blood draw? See, Hertoghe tells

his patients to do it this way, very strictly: The last 3 nights before the

blood draw, apply the gel in the evening instead of in the morning. I don't know

why he says this, but it could be because then you'll have your body produce

less tesosterone in the morning when it feels you apply the gel in the evening

for 3 nights in a row. Anyway. The next morning, go draw the blood.

People never apply the gel to the arm where you draw blood, at least not in my

experience. I apply my gel to my shoulders.

I am on 30 mg Zinc daily. Will this be enough to lower Estradiol?

Thanks for your support, Phil! It means a lot to me!

I will read about DIM. But it seems to me like I am going to take more and more

pills. I don't like it... :-( My ALAT is going up.. Can it be form taking too

many vitmains, minerals, hormone replacements?

I am on 30 mg Zinc daily. Yes, I know about the Copper. I just bought it. Too

low copper makes iron not absorb too.

Well I am not going to say this Dr. is wrong he is one of the best. I do know

when your on TRT doing gels, creams, pellets or shots of Testosterone your brain

sees this in your blood and slows way down tell your Testis to make it. But as

I tell everyone I am not a Dr. and do what your Dr. tells you if I feel he is

not up on this I will say so and tell you to find a better Dr.

No 30mgs is not much Zinc and you would only lower Estradiol a little doing

more. Men that are on TRT need to do Zinc it's good for your testis still they

need something to get higher levels of Estradiol down. Zinc might help if your

not to high. Here in the USA we take Arimidex or Indolplex/DIM to help keep

Estradiol levels down.

Being Hypo caused the liver to detoriate. I had excellent ALAT labs while on

T4/T3 and only that, for 10 years - 1997 to 2007. All labs for worse as the

Endos weened me down on the thyroid meds. :P

Can you tell me which, and how much, vits, mins and other stuff you take?

Nice list you got there.

I am taking:

American Health Ester-C 5000 mg

Solaray Selenium 200 mcg

Solgar B-Complex " 100 "

Solgar Zinc Citrate 30 mg

Labs Amino Vit-A 100.000 iu

Labs Amino-Mag 200 mg

Now Foods Vitamin D3 2000 iu

Now Foods Vitamin K2 100 mcg

Now Foods Vitamin E-400

New Chapter WholeMega 2000 mg

Teofarma Ferrograd 525 mg Ferrous Sulfate Iron (100 mg elemental iron)

Natural Factors Chromium 100 mg & Vanadium 25 mg

Do I need anything else? And.....

Does anyone here know if I am creating a disbalance here? I added Chromium

today. I think I need to add Copper too, because I take so much Vitamin C and

Zinc which both lowers Copper which again stops Iron uptake.
