Guest guest
Thank you your quick response. I am taking 500 IU of HcG on the 5th and 6th day after my testosterone injection (1 cc). My age management DR. suggested maybe increasing the dosage of the HcG. What do you think. I am concerned about the pituitary gland tumor; however my Prolactin level was 10 on my last labs on 4/19/2010. Lab range is supposed to be between 2 and 18.0 ng/ml. HCG shot we did labs and my Total Testosterone levels doubled this is how we found out my Pituitary was bad. Guest guest
I actually feel pretty good. I'm in good shape. Wife cant tell any difference in size. This was the first time that the uro checked the testicle size. So they have been this size since I met the wife 9.5 years ago. In a message dated 5/26/2010 12:54:24 A.M. Guest guest
If anything I would lower your dose to 250 IU's I was doing 500 IU's 3 x's a week my Estradiol started to go nuts very high and I needed a stronger dose of Arimidex to keep it down. I switched my shots of Test C from every week to every 3 days now I am doing a shot that is lower and I lowed my HCG to 400 IU's the 2 days each in between my T shot. But in time my Estradiol went nuts again. If your doing more HCG then your testis can handle it will convert into Estradiol and in time desensitize your testis to HCG. But I did find out after all them yrs. on HCG it would become weaker by the time it is 3 weeks old keeping it in the fridge. I now know why when you mix it you need to let is set for 30 min.'s of over night so it is mixed real good. I was mixing and shooting it so when I turn the vial over to draw out the HCG I was draw out unmixed HCG that was very strong so my mix ended up weaker. I found out about this mixing my HGH. Guest guest
Dr.s think Endo's are the experts on low T and when you ask about a med they don't know about the feel sending you to see an Endo is the best thing to do. Take my word for it they are not any good and most will try to get you to stop your T meds so they can do what they call base line labs this is not a good idea it's something they do with people that have high sugar levels I feel. If you see this Endo your going to find you wasted your time and money and if this Endo tells you you need to stop TRT run from there office. Guest guest
LOL Phil, That is exactly what the first Endo I saw said. He talked about me going off TRT so he could do labs. I expect this to will be a waste of time but I am going to give it my best shot. She will at least know someone wants HCG as part of their TRT. Brett Re: TRT, HcG, and small testicles. Guest guest
I pry she is good don't let her take you off TRT I had this happen to me 7 x's when I was sent to see Endo's there is no such thing as taking a man off TRT for a Base Line set of labs all they do is find out how dam sick they make you when you crash. And each time I let them do this it took longer to get my levels back up. Guest guest
LOL Phil your a prophet. That is exactly what she wanted to do! Take me off TRT to get baseline labs! I only when there because my new DO thought she would be up on hCG. Not! About the time she got to the standard line " hCG is only good if you are concerned about fertility " I thanked her for her time and left. Well guess I should have known better to go there in the first place. I doubt if you DO will agree to RX me hCG after this so it is off to ADC I go. Trouble is that way it is going to cost me if I could have gotten a prescription within my health plan it would have been only $20 co pay. Wonder how long before ADC gets restocked or was it only that diet size premix that they were out of? Guest guest
Sorry that came true I was hoping she was up on this keep working on your DO show him Dr. 's paper Update on HCG at www.allthingsmale.com and this link. http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/90/5/2595 Here is a post to me from Dr. to help get my Dr. to let me try HCG show this to him also. =================================================== Dr. ’s post to me to help get my Dr. to let me try HCG. He probably feels that since you suffer primary hypogonadism (I am guessing) there is no use in adding HCG to your protocol. There are several reasons why this is not so. First, you have not lost all Leydig cells, so any HCG you take will stimulate those who still function to produce endogenous testosterone. This will support testicular size. We should not ignore this aesthetic consideration. Next, if he reads my work, he will learn that HPTA-suppressed (as all TRT patients are to some extent) also suffer decreased pregenenolone levels, which is the first step after CHOL in all three hormonal pathways which begin with CHOL. HCG increases pregnenolone production, and therefore restores a more natural balance of our hormones. Next, nearly all TRT patients who add in HCG to their regimens report an increased sense of well-being and also libido. These are genuine quality of life issues. Finally, I just instinctively do not want all those LH receptors (including those we have yet to discover and appreciate) unstimulated.
