Guest guest
That is exciting news. Please keep us posted on your results. Didn't you mention that Armour has sulfites in it? Everything to this date has not worked for me. He wants me to go off my levoxyl for a week and then start taking 2grains 3 times a day of Armour. My concern is that he also wants me to stop taking my diuretic. I know I will have a great deal of water retention doing this. I can gain 5 to 7 pounds a day not using it. I am very concerned about this. I told him this and he said if I do this, he feels I will be happy with the results. He is taking one step at a time. If this doesn't work for me, we will go forward and look at other causes for my problem and remedies. What I need from anyone who has used Armour and has had it work for them is some encouraging words, PLEASE. I do have confidence in this doctor. He has a wonderful reputation in this area. Guest guest
WOW how wonderful for you! of coiurse you can safely go off the diuretic---this is what Armour dose best. I am surprised that he wants you to take 6 grains though, that might be a bit much. but you certainly will not need the diuretic. there is a whole world of better thyroid care out there---really. Guest guest
Hi , Do you have hashimotos? Thanks! <veetee@...> wrote: Hi Venizia, You go girl! It is so encouraging to hear some good news. So glad that you have found a doctor with a well deserved reputation, who also believes in working with you as a patient, using Armour. I do not think you have anything to fear using Armour. I switched more than a year ago and I feel absolutely great on it. No regrets what so ever. The newer generation of doctors only want to push what the drug companies want them to, and are not interested in what is best for patients, because they do not 'make money' from natural things. Just look at how homeopathy is derided as being 'pseudo medicine. The vocal majority are not always right, you can be a mighty minority of one with a smaller band of followers, think of Jesus. My faith in God has seen me through this condition, and God created a body that can heal, so put your trust in God first, (and then the doctor!) who has been blessed with a caring spirit, and practices as a good doctor should do! Guest guest
Uf you're worried about the diuretics..you might try dandelion leaf.. make sure it's the leaf, not the root. My dr wanted me to take diuretics but they are all made with sulfa and I'm allergic to it and after reading Sherry MD about how dangerous they really are I did a lot of research and found dandelion leaf to be the best bet, it has potassium in it and oh yes it works very well.... > > Well, my much anticipated appointment with my new doctor took place today. Guest guest
I am suppose to start armour on the 10th of April. So that gives me time to check it out. I thought of that. I tried looking up Forest pharmaceuticals but haven't found a way of contacting them yet. Didn't look all that long though. I will definitely ask that question. Thanks. Guest guest
Hi Venezia, I wouldn't worry about gaining the weight without your diuretics. It is only water weight, and it seems like he's trying to balance out your system, and then things should be better. I usually take Thyrolar, with is a synthetic form of Armour, and I love it. Right now it is on back order, so I'm anxiously awaiting its return. I think that taking a prparation that has the t4 AND t3 is much better, and I think you'll find it better too. Good luck, Roni --- tassiter <dia47@...> wrote: > Uf you're worried about the diuretics..you might try > dandelion leaf.. > make sure it's the leaf, not the root. Guest guest
> > Hello Group, > > I have been following this dialog religiously for the entire time I have been sick with this condition (9 months). This is the longest this fungus has ever lasted and I am having serious difficulty ridding myself of it this time. ==>Hi Lyle. This time it is taking you longer? It is very possible you never cured your candida previously, so the time you have had candida is much longer than 9 months. It takes 1 month of natural healing for every year you've been unwell, and for most people nowadays that is since before birth. The timing starts when you are completely on the diet and taking ALL of the supplements - the whole program works together so nothing can be left out. Also if a person is taking " other " supplements or treatments it can interfere with their progress. All other candida programs do not trully address the cause, which is a depressed immune system, because they " think " you can just " kill off candida " to get rid of it. That isn't true at all. The only way to cure candida is to build up the immune system so it becomes strong enough to " make " candida change back to the friendly organism it is supposed to be in the body. > > I am considering some expensive blood tests and consulting a well known Doctor's help that has written some books on the subject , but its going to cost me for sure.(in cash). I just wonder if anyone has heard of a Cardio-Ion panel test. Its supposed to include all my levels of vitamin ,mineral, triglycerides, etc. Everything from the blood and urine results must of course be read by the Doctor and then supplements recommended to build up the immune system just like we are doing here. >I have recently grown impatient with the length of this process on Bee's diet as I must be getting back to work soon and I don't seem to be making any real progress. I just want to know how valuable a test like this might be if I do it and if anyone has ever heard of it. ==>Natural healing is a slow process, so it takes time, patience and persistence doing the program. It might help you a lot to get a full panel of tests done. Supplements alone cannot build up the immune system and no doctor is going to recommend such a high fat diet like I do, which is so important for candida sufferers. Many other members have spent tons of money on such tests and evaluations, to no avail. Also I do personal consultations; see the 1st Folder in our Group's Files (left menu). Guest guest
Larry is you can call this Dr. and ask him for the labs he wants tested then go to a Quest lab and have the draw the labs try to go the day of your next shot but before it. Guest guest
Well, I saw the new endo today. He seems to be better than the old one in the respect that he want to get my T up to 400 to 500. The old one was happy with it at 290. I asked about Estradiol. He thought there wasn't any need to test for it, but did it anyway. Given his reaction, I assume he just ordered the standard test. He increased my Androgel from 7.5 g (6 pumps) to 10 g (8 pumps). I go back to see him in 6 weeks. I see my new primary care doctor in April. I specifically picked a DO. I hope he will be better suited to this task. If anyone knows of a good doctor in the Albuquerque area for treating low T, please share the name. Thanks, .
