Guest guest
Dan, Yes you are right to be concerned about the joint pain. I found that out the hard way. I did this same thing to myself buy going to low when using Arimidex. I had taken my E2 all the way down to 6. The joint pain I believe is listed as a possible side effect of Arimidex but I am quite sure now that it was not the Arimidex itself but just that my estradiol had gone way to low. I still had the wood so I didn't think I was to low at the time but when I finally got a long delayed test result back at only 6 I discovered that is what it was. So if you are having joint pain I think it is safe to say that your E2 is too low. Stop the Arimidex at least for a while. You may find that like me you may do better with just DIM. It works good also but it just isn't as strong or powerful as the Arimidex or try a much lower dosing on the Arimidex. Some of us, me at least, just seem to be more sensitive to to the Arimidex or we just don't need as much as someone like Phil does. He needs quite a lot but on me that was just way to much. Just like what you seem to be experiencing I found I just couldn't depend on the " wood " test to tell me where I was. Even at only 6 I still had pretty good wood no Viagra needed. We are all a little different and we all need to find out what works for us. One thing I did have is a loss of feeling during sex, took for ever to finish if at all. I am now thinking that may have been a symptom or my estradiol being too low as well. Like Phil says I think estradiol is the trickiest thing that we have to manage. Hope this helps, Brett E2 test? Phil & others, I just started taking arimidex 2 months ago. I only take .25mg on the day of my T shot (200mg) once per week. I also take half tab. of DIM/Indolplex daily, except the day I take arimidex. Also take ZMA daily. Now, I'm trying to listen to my body and I get this sore feeling in my knee joints when I take the arimidex. Again, it is only .25mg once per week. Is this a side affect of the arimidex? I have never felt sore in my knee joints before, that I can think of. Since my doc won't schedule a E2 test, I was going to do it on my own. I'm tired of guessing if my E2 is high or low. How and where do I go to have the test? I am going to pay out of pocket. I feel I need to know what my E2 is. I've got morning wood, stronger on certain days. But usually during sex with my wife in the evening or at night, it isn't strong and I wear the title of " minute man " cause it don't last long (smile). Thanks, Dan
Guest guest
If you go to low on E2 levels you can get joint pain but with me I need to be low for a time. Here is some info I just posted about getting labs. http://tinyurl.com/387rual Co-Moderator Phil > From: Dan Lee <nvestnyuth@...> > Subject: E2 test? > > Date: Friday, July 30, 2010, 12:31 AM > Phil & others, > > I just started taking arimidex 2 months ago.
