Guest guest
, how do you medically know you have heart complications? If you feel that you, please cut off your PC / Netbook / etc and go to the ER. Come on , how can we help if you are having heart problems? I am still dealing with what happened to me in Nov and I have been to many specialists and had tests done. So , no more worrying if E2 for now and get yourself a proper diagnosis if you feel you have cardiogical problems. Most of us on this site are on your side and want you to get healthy but do your job also Palpitations It's 1:30 am and I am suffering from MANY " skipped heart beats " .. Can this be Arimidex doing this to me? I have had soy yoghurt and peanut butter with no sugar in it today. I am worried about low Potassium, cause I know it's low in RBC. :\ Maybe I am taking too much Arimidex? Can it affect the heart like this? I took one 0.25 mg on Friday night at 11 pm and one 0.25 mg on Sunday morning at 11 am. It feels like the puls is a bit slow, maybe mid 60s, then it skips, and stops and start again, really slowly.. Guest guest
, Yes, arimidex can affect your heart. I have the same problem. Not sure what to do about it though. I'm just going to try and tough it out for a couple of weeks and see what happens. Guest guest
Please dnt make it seem every health problem is caused by high estrogen because someone like may not seek help other than this forum. If has heart problems, seek a cardiogoist asap! Regardless of how its caused, this should discussed by your docs and you-the patient. Guest guest
I used to have heart palpitations when my thyroid was low. When you experience palpitations, you definitely know it is happening. For me, it would feel like my heart was beating just fine, then all of a sudden, it would miss a beat. Then, the next beat would be more intense than any of the previous beats. I do not know how reliable this site is, but for what it is worth, check this out: http://www.ehealthme.com/ds/arimidex/heart+pounding This site supposedly takes FDA reports and categorizes the data. They have charts showing how long people have been on Arimidex before experiencing palpitations, percentages of females and males, ages, etc. Kind of interesting… Basically, the site said that there have been 77 reports of palpitations on Arimidex (0.77%). 96.34% of people reporting problems were female and 3.66% were male. Most of the people experiencing these problems were older (78.08% were age 60+). Here is a “way out there†thought… Decreasing estradiols can increase testosterone. Increased testosterone can decrease thyroid levels. How long does this take to happen? Can it happen very quickly for some guys? Could the heart palpitations be a sign of decreased thyroid? Personally, I don’t think it is possible to happen that quickly, but I thought I would pose the question anyway. Elsewhere, I have read that some women experience palpitations and/or racing heart beats with the onset of menopause. Menopause can sometimes cause a somewhat sudden drop in hormone levels – including estrogen. Maybe the guys experiencing palpitations after taking Arimidex are more sensitive and just need to take smaller doses. Guest guest
Well I had extra cystoles last night, quite many. Then they stopped. Maybe it was adrenaline because I was horny or something? Today I have had no extra heartbeats so far. It's just over noon now. I am trying to walk the dog out in the extreme cold. But I have an intense pain in my stomach, and diarrhea since breakfast and Copper intake Copper is the only new mineral I am taking in the morning now. I had low serum copper, and low copper makes iron absorb poorly. And my Ferritin also declined recently, so... Does anyone here know if Arimidex (or Copper?) can cause this horrible stomach pain? I started with these two babies (Arimidex and Copper) 3-4 days ago. OTHER THAN THOSE PROBLEMS, I do feel AWAKE, and quite clear in my head, better than in a long time, but only since starting Arimidex! I think lowering my E2 has helped me in some ways for sure! " MY LAGGING VISION " which no doctor including Hertoghe knows why I get, has disappeared since adding Arimidex to my regime. I suspected the lagging vision (like a low frame rate when I move my head, like an old PC-game when you had a slow CPU! LOL!) was caused from high E2 for a long time. I think I was right. I haven't had it for 3-4 days now! And it ONLY APPEARED when I started on TRT! So, yeah. I am not dumb. But maybe I don't tolerate Arimidex? So it's an impossible situation for me? I am thinking about the heart. I already sent an email to Hertoghe about this last night. Guest guest
High E2 levels can make you suffer from anxiety even Panic feels. As for Arimidex I don't feel it would do this when I feel Panic feelings taking some Arimidex rids me of them feelings. With the way you worry you need some Xanax I need it I take on bad days .25 mgs 3x's a day most of the time I take just .25 mgs. at bedtime. It can just be your hormones changing in levels this happens most of the time at night when your sleeping. Unless your sugar is falling are you feeling hot and sweating. Guest guest
I was talking to my Dr. about why I had Panic Attacks from high Estraidol he told me it's the change in the hormones that feels like this. And if you have a Panic Problem I do it will set it off. He said this feeling can happen when Estradiol levels are going up or down. For me them Panic feelings when they first started up had me in the ER thinking I was having a heart attack. And in the ER the Dr. said it's very important to come in when you feel this way panic or not. Co-Moderator Phil > > > > > > > I feel that the heart jumps and tumbles and stops then > beats again. Guest guest
Good find but them people are taking 1 mg. everyday men hear don't do that high of a dose. In all the yrs I have been working at forums helping men there are only 2 men Mike and Tom I have heard having this problem. And we don't know if it's the Arimidex or the change in the Estradiol levels. Read this link to much Estradiol or not enough is bad for the heart. http://jeffreydach.com/2010/12/31/preventing-reversing-heart-disease-jeffrey-dac\ h.aspx Co-Moderator Phil > From: <hostmaster@...> > Subject: RE: Palpitations > > Date: Sunday, February 20, 2011, 10:26 PM > I used to have heart palpitations > when my thyroid was low. When you experience > palpitations, you definitely know it is happening. For > me, it would feel like my heart was beating just fine, then > all of a sudden, it would miss a beat. Then, the next > beat would be more intense than any of the previous beats. > > > > I do not know how reliable this site is, but for what it is > worth, check this out: > > http://www.ehealthme.com/ds/arimidex/heart+pounding > > > > This site supposedly takes FDA reports and categorizes the > data. They have charts showing how long people have > been on Arimidex before experiencing palpitations, > percentages of females and males, ages, etc. Kind of > interesting… > > > > Basically, the site said that there have been 77 reports of > palpitations on Arimidex (0.77%). 96.34% of people > reporting problems were female and 3.66% were male. > Most of the people experiencing these problems were older > (78.08% were age 60+). > > > > Here is a “way out there†thought… Decreasing > estradiols can increase testosterone. Increased > testosterone can decrease thyroid levels. How long > does this take to happen? Can it happen very quickly > for some guys? Could the heart palpitations be a sign > of decreased thyroid? > > > > Personally, I don’t think it is possible to happen that > quickly, but I thought I would pose the question anyway. > > > > Elsewhere, I have read that some women experience > palpitations and/or racing heart beats with the onset of > menopause. Menopause can sometimes cause a somewhat > sudden drop in hormone levels – including estrogen. > Maybe the guys experiencing palpitations after taking > Arimidex are more sensitive and just need to take smaller > doses. > > > > > > > > From: > [mailto: ] > On Behalf Of > Sent: Sunday, February 20, 2011 7:15 PM > > Subject: Re: Palpitations > > > >  > > I feel that the heart jumps and tumbles and stops then > beats again. Guest guest
I have not had heart POUNDING though, this is normal heartbeat, maybe at ad low pusle at 68 when I measured it last night, and just a lot of extra heartbeats, or skipped heartbeats. Guest guest
I take what Hertoghe tells me to take. And he didn't tell me to tahe Q10 yet. I did a test for it in serum in March last year, and it showed up high in range. Meaning I don't need to take it right? > > > > > > > I used to have heart palpitations when my thyroid was > low.
