Standing up for yourself is the best thing you could have done. Why volunteer

to. Be sick when you don't have 2. Self injection is easy. Your body will be

much more stable if you inject 50 2 times a week.

This prevent high peaks and valleys and keeps estradiol much lower.

I have been right where you are. There is reason to stretch this normalcy of

being at your best.

The Dr. said yes to testosterone(at least this)

The docter responded to my first request, after talking to an endo, by asking me

once again if I had used steroids, and that my low numbers may be a result of

any of this use, then telling me we were going to wait another 3-4 weeks for

another set of bloodwork(I have already had 3 testosterone tests, 287,340, 304.

I sent him a rather angry email simply stating that I hated the side effects I

was experiencing, and That I have not used any hormone products.

This morning I wake up really early to and was just about to come onto this

board and vent and I had another email from the Dr.

He is starting me on test. every two weeks, 200mg, testing at week 5.

When I learn to do it myelf, I will move the shots to once a week.

I am relieved about this and scared.

Nothing to be worried about now your going to feel better I did shots every 2

weeks it's not as good as every weeks or evern 2x's a week but I felt a lot

better doing the shots every 2 weeks then I did not doing anything.

The twice a week 50mg injections work great for me also.A 27 guage needle using

a insulin syringe, in the thigh is painless.Really can't feel the needle.I do it

on friday mornings and monday afternoons.Hard to describe how much better I

feel. Phil

I am curious. Are we talking about Test. cyp in the oil base? How do you

get the 27 gauge needle to uptake that? I have tried 25 gauge needles

and it will not fill.

I use a 27g 1ml. x 1/2 " LG. needle here is how I do it my Test C is 200mgs/ml so

to do a 100 mg shot all you need is .5 mls. I pull .5 mls of air into the

needle then push the are into the Test C vial. I then pull the plunger all the

way down and hold it takes about a min. or two to get a little over .5mls I then

push any are or and the extra Test C I have back into the vial until I have my

dose. Then I shoot it comes out slow and you need the oil to go into your thigh

slow.

I have no pain my levels are great and I have been doing this for yrs.

You should be tested for prolactin before you start. E2 also. Has this

happened?

yes test ctp.I draw out of the vial with a 25 guage,takes a while to aspirate

med because of it's viscosity.23 guage would be better.I use the small needle

because you will have a lot of punctures in vial top and might lose seal before

you finish up the med.The 27 guage is what I stick in my thigh. Phil

I fill the same as Phil except I pull 1cc of air from the alcohol bottle.

Some Sams Club have 27ga x 9/16 x 1cc syringes

100 for about $20

are you keeping it in the refrigerator?

25g*1 " fills easily for me at room temp... maybe 1-2 min max.

even 29g that I've used occasionally fill (but it does take longer).

don't expect an oil to draw up FAST like a water based injectable (say b12 for

example)

Guys! Lower gague, smaller gague needles are larger; higher gague are smaller.

A 27ga is smaller than a 25ga.

I use at least a 22 ga, and perhaps an 18 g. I switch the needle - just remove

the 22 gague and put on a 25 gague needle 1.5 inches long. The length is to be

able to get into the muscle. Put the needle in where you cleaned before with

alcohol, pull back on the plunger to be sure no blood. This is a viscous liquid

and could cause problems if injected into a blood vessel. Then inject. I

actually use a 3 ml syringe with a 22 ga needle to load 0.5 ml (inject once a

week), then change to the 25 gague needle that is 1.5 inches long. The larger

syringe puts more pressure on the liquid as you inject.

I use to get nailed in the butt with a 18g 1 and 1/2 " lg. needle at my Dr.'s

office hurt dam good I would sit on one side of my butt driving home.

When I first started doing my own shots I use a 25g x 1 " lg needle to shoot into

my thigh. It hurt dam bad and would even swell up.

When I read Dr. Shippen shoots his T shots in his self every 3 days using a

Insulin needle. I asked my Dr. If I could use a smaller needle he told me try a

27g x 1/2 " lg. needle. I have been using this size for over 5 yrs now no pain

the oil comes out slow and when you shoot it goes in slow but you want it to go

in slow. My levels never changed and by the way Dr. Shippen does his shot subQ

in his belly fat.

He did the book " The Testosterone Syndrome " .

Most of the men starting to do there own shots using a bigger needle feel the

pain of it and don't want to do them. Then guys that try the smaller needles

find they don't have this problem and do fine.
