DIM question

Hi,

I've been taking one DIM each night to try and get my morning wood back. I have

a log of when I wake up and if I achieved wood or not. One day last week I was

watching a movie and fell asleep, at midnight I woke up with a pretty good

erection, then fell asleep again until 7 and woke up with another pretty good

erection (not super hard enough to wake me up like ive heard people say).

Then I started not taking DIM thinking I went too low, and for four days I

havent got a morning wood yet.

So, what I'm wondering is, is there a couple day window where you notice your

wood or do you have just one day to notice?

DIM works slower the arimidex so as you get down in your Estradiol levels you

start getting night time wood men get them up to 7x's a night when they first

start up they can be weak and as you get your levels down lower they can get dam

hard even hurt or you can hang a coat on it.  It is when this stops and you

check it in the morning before you get out of bed to see if you can get it up

fast that you stop the DIM.  Men have a hard time with this if you don't think

you had the night time wood before you get up see if you can get it up.  Going

to low taking Viagra will not get it up.

If you feel you went to low and then stopped the DIM it can take a good week or

longer to get your wood back.  Some get it back very fast but not all men have

Estradiol levels that go up and down fast.

Dim can increase, decrease, or e2 remain the same. Its not a silver bullet like

people think. Run it then test your e2 in 4-5 weeks to see if it has changed.

i feel some reason men loose erections is because not the drop in e2, but

because they can not handle the liver can not handle the excessd estrogen

metabolites. TMG should be added in at 500 -1000 mg BID to help over come this.

One can also use sam-e at 200 mgs BID to help flush out the estrogens as well.

Sam-e needs to be started out slow and monitor for emotional imbalances,

anxiety

DIM is good but bad for 1/2 population due to we are undermethlyators which can

over tax or liver detoxfication pathways..iodoral at 25-50 mgs is a better

choice then dim and does not affect methylation either
