Yes Sir: They recommend 50 mg once daily. I will ask them if I can cut

the pill in half and do 25 2xs daily. Be advised that i am also taking the

DIM that you recommend.

What is the benefit to doing the 25 mgs 2 xs daily as opposed to 50 mgs

one time per day???????

needle shooting into your thigh. The oil comes out of the vial slow so I just

pull the plunger all the way down and hold it takes about a min. to get my

Thank you again for your insight. My DHEA Sulfate level is at 135 (which

according to Quest Diagnostics) is within the 25 to 240 mcg/dL range).

What do you think about the 135 reading? Should I take the DHEA

supplement? Oh these are pharmaceutical quality supplements, so they are

supposed

to be more concentrated than Over the counter (OTC) stuff..

My Estradoil is currently at 25 and estrogen at 128.

I do take the DIM that you reccomend, and they ate the Age mabagement also

advocte the use of DIM.

was because my labs came up near the top of the range. He told me everyone

Adrenals and I treat mine my Pituitary dose not tell my Adrenals to work right.

So in treating them my DHEA levels came up so I stopped taking DHEA

supplements.

So after he told me to go back on it my levels went above the top of the

taking .25 mgs of Arimidex every 2 to 3 days.

When my Estradiol levels go up it sets me off into Panic Attacks not that

the high levels cause this but it feels like one so I end up having them.

My next set of labs showed my DHEA to be 3x's above the top of the range and

my DHT went up 2x's above the top of the range with my Estradiol levels

doubling taking .25 mgs of Arimidex everyday.

So my Dr. said I guess I was wrong stop taking it. As this was going on

Hardasnails called me he was having the same problems. And on my last set of

labs my DHEA is back down into the upper mid range and my DHT is back down.

So one needs to be careful taking DHEA in men it will convert into

Estradiol in women it will convert into some Testosterone.

Thank you again Phil for your help and insight. Do you still think that

the HCG on day 5 and 6 is ok along with the Testosterone every week.

Yes I feel men need to add in HCG doing 250 IU's the 2 days each before there

next T shot. Or on gels do 250 IU's every 3 days. Here is what Dr. told

me to get my Dr. let me try HCG.

====================================================

He probably feels that since you suffer primary hypogonadism (I am guessing)

there is no use in adding HCG to your protocol. There are several reasons why

this is not so. First, you have not lost all Leydig cells, so any HCG you take

will stimulate those who still function to produce endogenous testosterone.

This will support testicular size. We should not ignore this aesthetic

consideration.

Next, if he reads my work, he will learn that HPTA-suppressed (as all TRT

patients are to some extent) also suffer decreased pregenenolone levels, which

is the first step after CHOL in all three hormonal pathways which begin with

CHOL. HCG increases pregnenolone production, and therefore restores a more

natural balance of our hormones.

Next, nearly all TRT patients who add in HCG to their regimens report an

increased sense of well-being and also libido. These are genuine quality of life

issues.

Finally, I just instinctively do not want all those LH receptors (including

those we have yet to discover and appreciate) unstimulated.

----------------------------------------------------

And this study supports what he says.

I am Secondary too and no HCG acts like LH and FSH but does not increase your

own LH and FSH levels on HCG they will get lower your brain sees this HCG in

your blood and slows this message down but being Secondary your not sending this

LH and FSH message anyway. HCG makes your testis and cells in your body and

brain go to work.
