Guest guest
My HCG is covered by my BCBS but I need a per approval for it my Dr. has to fill out paper work then they approve it but only for a yr. then I need to go through the approval process all over again. This is a pain in the A** I need Per Approval for Testosterone shots, HCG and HGH. Each time the Approval runs out my Dr. sends in the paper work and the turn it down and I have to appeal it and call my Union Rep in on this to get it approved. I feel I am being harassed by BCBS on this as time goes on it gets worse we need a change in health care what I don't know but the sick person should be able to pay for his BCBS and get his money's worth. Guest guest
Why would they not cover a drug to keep your testicles from shrinking? Guess I am going to find out, cause if I end up on TRT I damn sure plan to take the stuff. I pay over 6200 bucks a year for my insurance coverage. To date I have never had ANY issue with them, but I have a feeling that I will on this front. Mine is kind of strange compared to BCBS. I require no authorizations for testing as long as a doctor orders the test, and I require no referral to see a 'specialist' per se. If said specialist requires no referral on his/her end that is,......and some of them do. Plainly,....I pay 1K out of pocket before it kicks in, although I get the agreed to plan prices. After that first 1K, I pay 20% for the next 1K out of pocket. After that,....it is 100% coverage for the remainder of a calendar year. In other words the most I will pay in any given year is 2K out of pocket. ALL of my scrips cost $7.00 for a months supply, or 100 pills whichever is highest. If a scrip costs 300 bucks, I still pay 7 bucks, and it has nothing to do with a deductible, and also no other co-pays.
Guest guest
I use to think I had the best of the best drug coverage but now as time goes on I am at my wits end with my drug coverage. I need to call my Dr. all the time to get them to send in more info so I can get meds filled. Now for my Test C shots they will not give me a 10ml vial of 200mgs/ml. They use to send me this and it would last me 90 days. Now they send me Ten 1 mls vials of 200 mgs / ml. This is very hard to hold to get the oil out and after you get your first dose out your not going to get anymore. I have been fighting with MedCo about this for months. They send my ten one ml. vials that I can only got one shot of .4 mls out of. Now they tell me the manufacture only has this size now so now in order to get this to last 90 days I had to call my Dr. and have him send in a scrip for 30 1 ml. Vials of Test C. WTF they try to get you to do the generic to save money now they send out Test C in one time use 1ml vial the rest that is left you through out. Guest guest
Phil, this is absolutely not true. All manufacturers have discontinued the 100 mg/ml size, but 200 mg/ml is still available in 10 ml. I think there are about 4 manufacturers for that. Our insurance is through Medco and I filled it through CVS and got a 10 ml vial. Guest guest
I know this but with my BCBS I can't fill a maintenance drug in a Drug Store I have to get it from MecCo's mail order. They are telling me all kinds of Bull Shi* to keep sending me 1ml vials after they told me all generic Test C comes this way I called my Drug Store he told me never heard of this and he has 10ml vials. Unless I want to pay for this I am stuck with this crap. Co-Moderator Phil > > > They send my ten one ml. vials that I can only got one shot > of .4 mls out of. Guest guest
Does anyone have any insight about the original post? As a reminder, I posted this message when I got my first order of Synthroid from ADC and the bottles looked odd, maybe " third worldish " maybe counterfeit. What should I do with this stuff? It was actually to have a backup supply on hand, but I'd like to get opinions on the quality of the stuff anyway. Anyone else order synthroid from them? Thanks in advance.
