Guest guest
My labs range goes up to 1100 I feel better between 800 to 900 so what is the problem with your Dr. I don't trust your lab. Hosp. labs are not very good when it comes to hormones. If you can next time get a script for you labs and go to a Quest lab for the blood draw. Be sure to do a shower that morning don't put on the gel and do your blood labs. If you can't do this in the morning. Shower put on the gel keeping it off the area that they take your blood from and do your labs after 6 hrs. Here is what I am have done at Quest Labs Estradiol sensitive Code #4021 Testosterone, Free, Bioavailable & Total LC/MS/MS Code # 14966X. Guest guest
Hey Jeff - I have never seen numbers that high on the amount of androgel you were on but we all react differently. Make sure the estradiol was tested as that and not estrogen which gives you the sum of all ester molecules which there are 3 different ones. If your E2 was that high this is why you are not up to par and reducing your total T will help that. I am not familiar with the product you mention but I assume it is DIM. This did not work for me and that is why I am on arimidex. I am getting ready to dump my ENDO and go to a DO. He also does not prescribe arimidex which doesn't work for me. It's tough finding the sweet spot and it also seems to be a moving target. If you are not having erection problems your Total T may be that high. I would expect some issues if your T was down around your starting values of 117. Â Arkansas From: Jeff <je1955@...> Subject: need advice -badly Date: Sunday, March 7, 2010, 8:26 AM Â I started TRT in November with a testosterone level of 117. I see an Endrocronologist that is also my internist and is about 60 years old. I had been at that testerone level for two years and he reluctantly started me on four pumps of Androgel in Nov 2009. In December my Test level was 525. Then three weeks ago it was 940. I did not believe it so I repeated the test with no gel on-first thing in the morning. Again results came back at 932 with Estradiol level of 103. I am not feeling nearly as good as I did when I started TRT. Doc said to back off to three pumps of androgel and come back in four months. I ordered Pure Rip with DIM as you suggested and am taking one a day. Somehow I think I need to try something else. What do you guys recommned? I am in good health otherwise. Should I take more Pure Rip? I do not think this doc uses med to reduce Estradiol. I feel lost... Thanks
