Guest guest
I have the same issue with edema. I found that the higher the does, the more the problem. I get the weight gain (water) and I feel like my breathing is a bit labored.  Do you experience the " breathing " issue as well? I find little problem with 50mg, but had significant problems with 100mg. I went to see Dr. Crisler and told him what my problems are including these " side effects " (if that's the right term). He changed me from once a week of 100mg to twice a week of 50mg. He also chanegd me from Testosterone Enanthate to Testosterone Cypionate - he said that some of his patients experience a histamine reaction to the T-Enanthate. I just started the Cypionate so I can't tell you if the side effects are better with this than with the Enanthate. But, if you are using Enanthate, maybe you can you ask your doc to change it to Cypionate and see what happens. Guest guest
From what I understand, and I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as many others on this board, it's the Estrogen increase that causes the water retention. I may be wrong though..... ________________________________ From: phil <phildude43@...> Sent: Thu, April 15, 2010 9:34:16 PM Subject: Re: Is fluid retention with TRT dose related?  Bill I have always used cypionate. No breathing problems just puffy finger, swelling in lower legs in the evening and weight gain. Will decrease to 50mg beginning with my next dose which is due at 6am.Phil > > I have the same issue with edema. > > Bill > > > > ____________ _________ _________ __ > From: phil <phildude43@ ...> > > Sent: Thu, April 15, 2010 7:02:14 PM > Subject: Is fluid retention with TRT dose related? > >  > I have been taking around 70-80mg twice a week.I am lean, muscular with a very good body fat composition for a 54 Y/O.My waist remains 34.Have put on around 20 lbs since being on test for 5 months. Some swelling of my fingers and lower legs.Occ take a diuretic which helps.Wonder if I decreased to 50mg twice a week if I would lose this excess fluid.I feel good so I feel certain my test and estradiol levels are in line.Just like a 180lb range rathar than 200 lbs. > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I don't know if this is entirely true. I started on Tcyp mid Feb. In the 1st two wks. I put on 10lbs. My E2 was at 4 when I started and body fat about 20%. I was tested mid march and my E2 was 14 with 20% b.f. I haven't put on anymore weight. My fingers and ankles were never swollen. I assume the weight gain was water. > > > > Bill > > > > > > > > ____________ _________ _________ __ > > From: phil <phildude43@ ...> > > > > Sent: Thu, April 15, 2010 7:02:14 PM > > Subject: Is fluid retention with TRT dose related? > > > >  > > I have been taking around 70-80mg twice a week.I am lean, muscular with a very good body fat composition for a 54 Y/O.My waist remains 34.Have put on around 20 lbs since being on test for 5 months. Some swelling of my fingers and lower legs.Occ take a diuretic which helps.Wonder if I decreased to 50mg twice a week if I would lose this excess fluid.I feel good so I feel certain my test and estradiol levels are in line.Just like a 180lb range rathar than 200 lbs. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
From day one I would hold water on TRT my dose never changed this. I feel this way about lowing ones does to try to fix something. You feel good leave it as it is going down can make you feel dam bad and it will take sometime for your body to adjust to the lower levels if it dose. I now need a water pill everyday after having Heart by-pass sugary. Guest guest
Yes a big part of being on TRT we get higher levels of Estradiol this is the bad guy for men. But long before I had Estradiol problems I would hold water on TRT my hands and feet would swell. If your Estradiol levels are high you can lose 10lbs of water getting it down. Guest guest
I don't know but HCG is not going to do anything to your test. And DIM will not do anything so if your not on Testosterone you should be good. As for HGH pills never heard of them and from what I know about HGH pills and sprays don't work.
