Guest guest
What I need to know is how do you feel. Do you have night time and morning wood if not how long has it been. Do you feel hot and sweat easy. Do you have ED problems can't get it up for sex or keep it up. Do you hold water are your hands and feet swelling. Do you have sore and hard nipples. Do you feel like you have a lot of anxiety or feelings of Panic. Do you get a rash anywhere on your body that comes and goes. If you have one of 2 of the above your Estradiol levels are high. You need to test them and if very high get some Arimidex to get it down. Being in the UK I don't know how your going to do this can your order from the ADC. http://www.alldaychemist.com/75_Arimidex-1mg A lot of men buy the generic to Arimidex from them you don't need a script then cut the pills into 4 parts and take 1/4 or .25 mgs every 2 to 3 days. Guest guest
TRT can cause alteration in cortisol, and thyroid function. You may not have a preexisiting thyroid condition, but it may have pushed you body past its natural set point resulting in thyroid either speeding up or slowing down. I have seen hypothyroidism come about after men have been on TRT for up to a year. The TSH goes up and thyroid levels go down, but they do not have any symptoms. I just keep monitor on to see if symptoms get worse, other wise you just leave it alone. you may have secondary hypothyroidism due to adrenal insufficiency as testosterone can cause more requirement for cortisol when there is a low level to begin with. > > > > > > > From: <chrisjtaylor46@> > > > > Subject: Think I have too much estrogen now > > > > > > > > Date: Sunday, February 13, 2011, 12:31 PM > > > > Hi all > > > > > > > > I'm on a sustanon injection every few weeks. at first > > > > i really felt it, now each time i have one i don't feel much > > > > different. > > > > > > > > i can only assume that it's too much estrogen? > > > > > > > > i am taking DIM and zinc, doesn't seem to be helping. > > > > > > > > what else can i do/try? > > > > > > > > Thanks > > > > > > > > chris > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Thanks I had a 24 hr urinary free cortisol test last year and it was a good result: about 75% of maximum i had a low ish tsh last year 0.6 i think, with free t4 14 (range 12-22), free t3 5.8 - range 4-6 i think. the labs in the uk never normally test free t3 (even if asked) but this time they did, i think they thought it was bizarre i had low Tsh, with low t4. i wonder if this indicates pituitary issues or my body not being able to use much thyroid for one reason and another? my tsh results are consistently about the 0.6-0.7 range what do you think ? if i remember rightly, Dr Rind said that tsh levels below 1 were indicative that the body cannot use much thyroid, often because of low cortisol. grateful for your input thanks chris > > > > > > > > > From: <chrisjtaylor46@> > > > > > Subject: Think I have too much estrogen now > > > > > > > > > > Date: Sunday, February 13, 2011, 12:31 PM > > > > > Hi all > > > > > > > > > > I'm on a sustanon injection every few weeks. at first > > > > > i really felt it, now each time i have one i don't feel much > > > > > different. > > > > > > > > > > i can only assume that it's too much estrogen? > > > > > > > > > > i am taking DIM and zinc, doesn't seem to be helping. > > > > > > > > > > what else can i do/try? > > > > > > > > > > Thanks > > > > > > > > > > chris > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
If docs would have put me on an E2 blocker, maybe I could avoided three surgeries for fat caused my high E.... I am not complaining, but my surgerions didn't do all they could, leaving me with no nipple sensations and tender muscles. But one day ill take off the shirt in public... So guys, make sure you have excellent insurance for top notch surgerons Re: Think I have too much estrogen now Thanks Phil here are my answers > What I need to know is how do you feel. crap, depressed, really tired, miserable: was feeling good when i first started sustanon. > Do you have night time and morning wood if not how long has it been. some morning, but not very strong. not much at night either, very transient. i had my last jab (sust 250) on tuesday, before that i prob had no wood for a good week, now with the jab things have improved a bit but not much. when i had the first jab things went a bit crazy with the wood dept but not now! > Do you feel hot and sweat easy. not really tho i'm always too cold in the mornings and night and during the day get too hot i guess. > Do you have ED problems can't get it up for sex or keep it up. pretty much both. > Do you hold water are your hands and feet swelling. no to hands and feet, not sure about water retention elsewhere- wouldn't suprrise me at all. > Do you have sore and hard nipples. no > Do you feel like you have a lot of anxiety or feelings of Panic. no > Do you get a rash anywhere on your body that comes and goes. not that i've noticed > If you have one of 2 of the above your Estradiol levels are high. Guest guest
24 hour urine cortisol tells you the total level, but not if you're low at one or more parts of the day. That's why 4 x saliva cortisol testing is recommended. Even a serum cortisol and ACTH draw in the morning would be helpful, despite only showing what's going on in the morning. I suggest you get more adrenal testing as the top of the range FT3 and low FT4 can be from low cortisol. Low cortisol tends to cause T3 to just stay in the blood, but not enter the cells (it's called pooling). -Nigel On 14 February 2011 09:30, <chrisjtaylor46@...> wrote: > > > Thanks > > I had a 24 hr urinary free cortisol test last year and it was a good > result: about 75% of maximum > > i had a low ish tsh last year 0.6 i think, with free t4 14 (range 12-22), > free t3 5.8 - range 4-6 i think. the labs in the uk never normally test free > t3 (even if asked) but this time they did, i think they thought it was > bizarre i had low Tsh, with low t4. i wonder if this indicates pituitary > issues or my body not being able to use much thyroid for one reason and > another? > > my tsh results are consistently about the 0.6-0.7 range > > what do you think ? if i remember rightly, Dr Rind said that tsh levels > below 1 were indicative that the body cannot use much thyroid, often because > of low cortisol. > > grateful for your input > > thanks > > chris > > > > > > > TRT can cause alteration in cortisol, and thyroid function. Guest guest
Hi Nigel I got adrenal testing done last year and it was ok, even after being off HC for about 4 months, i don't remember the exact range but the cortisol doubled i think - think it went from about 300 to 800 in 30 mins i wondered if i feel bad because of the diffent esters - maybe the first doesn't kick in for about 6-7 days? I feel a lot better today. yesterday i felt so low. i took 50mcg t4 in the evening after work to see if that would help. (t4 always helped my mood more than t3 - t3 made me worse always, i wonder if that's because the ratios of t4 : t3 in my body aren't right) so i do feel better - it could be the t4 or it could be that the medium esters of sustanon have started to kick in. i have read anecdotal reports that people on T need thyroid, and vice versa. i have seen Dr Peatfield a couple of times, I left a voicemail for him this morning asking if i could have a phone consultation with him. i will see what he says, i cannot rely on my GP, that's for sure thanks chris > > > > > > TRT can cause alteration in cortisol, and thyroid function. Guest guest
that sounds like an ACTH Stim. test I had this but when they tested my Cortisol first before the shot I was very low 9 in 30 min. I more then doubled this and in 60 min.'s it went up 3x's higher. This told my Dr. I am Secondary my Pituitary does not tell my Adrenals to make Cortisol and my Adrenals work fine. I don't know the range or our units on your test but if 300 is low you can be Secondary and need HC meds. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ACTH_stimulation_test Co-Moderator Phil > From: <chrisjtaylor46@...> > Subject: Re: Think I have too much estrogen now > > Date: Tuesday, February 15, 2011, 3:09 AM > Hi Nigel > > I got adrenal testing done last year and it was ok, even > after being off HC for about 4 months, i don't remember the > exact range but the cortisol doubled i think - think it went > from about 300 to 800 in 30 mins > > i wondered if i feel bad because of the diffent esters - > maybe the first doesn't kick in for about 6-7 days? Guest guest
interesting you were on HC. I guess you'd notice symptoms if you were low cortisol since weaning off hydrocortisone?? -Nigel On 15 February 2011 02:09, <chrisjtaylor46@...> wrote: > > > Hi Nigel > > I got adrenal testing done last year and it was ok, even after being off HC > for about 4 months, i don't remember the exact range but the cortisol > doubled i think - think it went from about 300 to 800 in 30 mins > > i wondered if i feel bad because of the diffent esters - maybe the first > doesn't kick in for about 6-7 days?
