Guest guest
Mike, I am on T3 I take 150 mcgs of generic Synthroid and I take 5 mcgs. of T3 only 3x's / day. It's not the T3 it's them high dose's people end up on to lower the RT3. Now don't get me wrong this site is great if you need to get RT3 down not everyone with a lab saying there RT3 is high needs to do this. http://thyroid-rt3.com/ It's people taking very high dose's of T3 that can end up with very high SHBG some take over 125 mcgs this is a lot. I like to tell people to read this link about RT3 there are things you can do before trying T3 only meds that might lower ones RT3. If you don't figure out why your RT3 is high getting it down on T3 only meds when you come off them your RT3 is just going to go back up again.
