Guest guest
How severe are your symtoms? Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile Gyno Ok I just started taking T and I know that most of you take an AI to reduce estrogen. My question is what can I take to reduce estrogen and help get rid of gyno at the same time? I have it for a long time and it's gotten better with weight loss but it's still there (gyno). Guest guest
ARIMIDEX ASAP. You should stop the TRT until this is addressed. Guest guest
If you're Estradiol is too high it can form breast tissue. If breast tissue has formed I'm not sure it can be treated with just meds. It would require surgery. You should talk to Phil and your doc ASAP. Guest guest
I definitely not stopping the trt to address this. I had this long before trt and I just started a week ago. I heard that arimidex is to prevent gyno not cure it? > > > > > > How severe are your symtoms? > > > Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile > > > > > > Gyno > > > > > > Ok I just started taking T and I know that most of you take an AI to reduce estrogen. Guest guest
I'm going to get my estrodiol checked and if it's elevated I'll try dim and see what happens. > > > > > > > > How severe are your symtoms? > > > > Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile > > > > > > > > Gyno > > > > > > > > Ok I just started taking T and I know that most of you take an AI to reduce estrogen. Guest guest
Stopping the TRT can make it worse. That can make you even more estrogen dominant. In most cases, lowering the dose is better. Guest guest
I have gyno when I am over weight but now at age 66 who cares. From what I understand about this if it's tissue you need sugary to get rid of it. Guest guest
Wait don't tell someone to stop TRT because of Gyno you ever stop TRT I have not fun. Gyno is not caused by TRT it's an Estrogen problem caused by high levels of Estradiol. And some men having high levels of Estradiol is the reason for there low Testosterone. The brain sees Estradiol in men as if it's Testosterone then as levels go to high it slows down sending the messages to make Testosterone. There are a lot of men just getting there Estradiol levels down there Testosterone levels came back up and they don't need TRT. http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/89/3/1174 http://www.medibolics.com/ArimidexBoostsTestosterone.htm Co-Moderator Phil > From: Marc Michaud <MisterX225@...> > Subject: Re: Gyno > > Date: Saturday, March 20, 2010, 9:00 PM > > ARIMIDEX ASAP. > > You should stop the TRT until this is addressed. > > > Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile > > Gyno > > > > > > Ok I just started taking T and I know that most > of you take an AI to reduce estrogen. Guest guest
Yes I have read this can happen the problem is when men have this problem and they try something that gets it down you never hear back from them. Guest guest
I have observed DH's gyno and belly go up and down with his estrogen levels. It was my number one reason for joining the list, because I knew I had to do something. Just got his latest labs back and his E2 has dropped 20 points, but still needs to drop more. I feel adding DIM and dropping his dose has helped a lot and his gyno and belly have decreased. He was doing every 5 days; I am now dropping his dose a little more and going to every 4 days, and adding a second DIM. Have also raised Erfa by just 1/4 grain and his heels have smoothed out, so I don't have to tweak thyroid anymore and are getting closer to optimal. I DREAM of the day when things are going so well I can actually read a novel again instead of medical books/studies LOL! Guest guest
Barb are you saying he takes DIM 1 or 2 times a week or day. Dim is taken everyday if one needs to take less they cut the tablet in half if they are doing Indolplex/DIM. I don't know of anyone taking DIM 1 or 2x's a week. We do this with Arimidex but it's good he is doing better. Guest guest
He currently takes 1 DIM at dinner daily. I am adding one to breakfast, so total of 2/day. > > > > > > > From: ed <edhill_2006@> > > > > Subject: Gyno > > > > > > > > Date: Saturday, July 31, 2010, 11:22 AM > > > > Can mild Gyno be reversed with > > > > lowering of E2? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > > > > >
