Guest guest
Thanks Phil. Last time we talked about it, you pretty much laid it out as far as how to take Isocort and skip the herbals, etc. Thanks for that - and I will read that thread. Right now though, I am having some success with Ginseng and Ashwaghanda. I feel a bunch better, and I don't want to move to isocort just yet. Licorice was horrible. I crashed as if I had a double espresso. Ironic that that is NOT how licorice should work. (No one ever said I was normal My main problem now is sleep! I'm not having adrenal crashes like I used to and the night sweats have subsided somewhat. I think I have my thyroid dose tuned in ok (more or less). But I'm still waking up after 6 hours as I have for the past 20 years. Also have mild IBS - every few days I have to pop a few immodium. I think that's thyroid related. Anyway, I'm getting OT here, but I thought I'd put that all out there in case it rings a bell with anyone. > > Dave some people can't take DHEA the stuff goes into Estradiol in men some women take it and have the same problem it goes into Testosterone for women too bad it would not do this for men. > If you have not see this link it full of info about Adreanls and in this is a FAQ'S I help make when I was a Mod at STTM forum it is full of every thing one needs to know about Adreanls and treating it. > Some of the links don't work anymore still this is great info. > http://forums.realthyroidhelp.com/viewtopic.php?f=12 & t=256 > Co-Moderator > Phil >

Guest guest
For me it's wake up, take some 5-htp or L-theanine have a bite to eat and (hopefully) get a couple of hours more. Thyroid or cortisone in the AM would jolt me awake like a bucket of ice water > > > > > > Dave some people can't take DHEA the stuff goes into > > Estradiol in men some women take it and have the same > > problem it goes into Testosterone for women too bad it would > > not do this for men. > > > If you have not see this link it full of info about > > Adreanls and in this is a FAQ'S I help make when I was a Mod > > at STTM forum it is full of every thing one needs to know > > about Adreanls and treating it. > > > Some of the links don't work anymore still this is > > great info. > > > http://forums.realthyroidhelp.com/viewtopic.php?f=12 & t=256 > > > Co-Moderator > > > Phil > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > >
