Guest guest
I'm not on 400 3x a day. Best price/deal was Puritsn 500's -100 per bottle, so I will end up 1000 a day instead of 1200 (or going over by 300) Anyone else have similar problems? Thanks
Guest guest
, I am not sure what your posting about, your talking about some thing you posted about but you did not add this to the first post. Are you saying your doing 400 IU's of HC 3 x's day. I use ZMA (Zinc monomethionine aspartate and Magnesium Aspartate) I buy the NOW brand and find this keep my levels up. My last set of labs my Magnesium was 2.1 top of range is 2.5 mg/dl. And to keep my Copper levels up I take 2 mgs at noon. Guest guest
I haven't been diagnosed as low, but take 600 mg per day to help a bit with blood pressure. I'm curious how you were diagnosed. Was it the usual blood chemistry test, or something else? The problem with taking lots of magnesium is that it tends to give you diarrhea. I've found that magnesium glycinate does not cause that problem, and is reported to be very well absorbed. > > I'm not on 400 3x a day. Guest guest
When I saw my Endocrinologist on Monday se mentioned my BP is up (and seems to at all my doctors despite my BP med). Since I'm good in other areaa (T/E, Thyroid). She did other checks this quarter and as soon as she saw the magnesium was low she understood why my BP has been elevate. She has me on Magnesium Oxide. > > > > I'm not on 400 3x a day. Guest guest
I had my mag tested in December. You need to test via blood labs and get the RBC Magnesium. The level is 4.0-6.4.  I tested at 4.7 so I started using some SR Magnesium supplement as was suggested by a couple of ladies on another forum. I will be retesting in a couple of weeks but I can tell that it has already regulated my system a bit.  This certain product does not cause the usual diarrhea that most do...it is SR so very slow acting.  The brand is Jigsaw.   Magnesium W/SR. I take only two tablets daily. The suggested dose is 4 tablets. I am using mine by bowel tolerance. http://www.jigsawhealth.com/supplements/magnesium From: fkw1122 <fkw1122@...> Subject: Re: Has anyone else been diagnosed with low Magnesium? Guest guest
, are you testing your blood pressure at home? It often goes up at the doctor's office. It's called white coat syndrome. Another thing to look at when blood pressure is up is potassium. It may be in the range, but where in the range is it? Testing RBC potassium will indicate status better. -Nigel On 20 January 2011 10:46, fkw1122 <fkw1122@...> wrote: > > > When I saw my Endocrinologist on Monday se mentioned my BP is up (and seems > to at all my doctors despite my BP med).
