Guest guest
I won't pretend to answer for Hard, and I am not a Dr, but knowing what I have read about how low T impacts men, and the stories of others on these forums and from real life friends, I bet you would be hard pressed to find a low T guy without some psychological issues related to low T prior to their treatment. And possibly some issues that arise just from the treatment process itself (obsession with treatment, trying to perfect every hormone, overly wary of any changes, etc...). Because of that, and the fact that we are all creatures of habit which tend to do what feels comfortable more often then not, I would not doubt that some of those issues have to be worked through even after treatment is successful and hormones are leveled out. Guest guest
All my life I have had very low T and Im 33. I dnt know life with women wanting me the way you do. I called it bragging not to minimize. We can't play the part of a doc. It could be psychological / physical / or both. If you have low T, this could explain things. Have you been taking your TRT regualrly? Do you abuse illicit drugs? Do you have other health issues? It seems you are freaking out due to not being able to sleep around, here I will not be the a-typical male. Provide reason to believe this is serious an not anxiety or low T, which can be treated quickly Re: My (crazy) evening thus far Just curious - are you on Testim or Androgel? Guest guest
I have no idea what my T was like when I was 0 - 18 years old. But when I was 18, it came out low range, the Total T, that is. I was severely overweight and never moved my body! I was put on T4 and lost 120 lbs (!) in just 12 months. I was treated for Hypothyroidism Type 2, aka " Cell Resistance " Hypo. I have never had any problems getting women. But now my physical health is stopping me from doing anything with them. To be honest, I don't even want to call them over. I feel so like shit. Like I am dying; Intense head pressure, red eyes, EXTREME sleepiness/tiredness, I guess this is HYPO.................. Temp of 97.4 F etc. I have never tried any " drug " . I take TRT every day and have since March 2010, except for a 1 month break from TRT in August - And I felt awesome without! And I was horny as hell too, the first day I did NOT take TRT. I had a glorious 1 month without TRT, then back on and and feeling BAD again. I hate the fact that I can't sleep with anyone now. I feel so bad I just wanna go to the ER. They can't and won't help me, however. All my life I have had very low T and Im 33. I dnt know life with women wanting me the way you do. I called it bragging not to minimize. Guest guest
You keep bring up women and you getting them and I will simply pass to comment from now on... It's like stop bro. Congrats on losing weight. My advice is make an appointment to see your primary or Endocrine doc if you are still having these problems a few days from now. Now you can treat the symptoms. If you are feeling so bad, why not pop a couple of pain relievers. Once again, follow the symptoms if something is more serious than low T, don't chalk it up to low T. This is all I have to say. I am not the atypical male that will chant you on for sleeping with many women. However, we are not doctors in here as well. If you are feeling horrible inside, call 911 or ask someone to take you to the ER. If you are not feeling that horrible, take some pain relievers and schedule yourself for a doctor's appointment on Monday. If you say your hormones are within range, maybe it's something else. Different medical concerns can interfere with erections, fevers, pain, etc. ________________________________ From: Gibcast <gibcast@...> Sent: Sun, February 6, 2011 5:31:01 PM Subject: RE: Re: My (crazy) evening thus far I have no idea what my T was like when I was 0 - 18 years old. Guest guest
See, I have tried to talk to a psychologist, actually, more than one. Over the years. I only got a diagnose THIS fall, and it is " Secondary Hypopituitarism " by Dr. Hertoghe. Finally I have something " real " that can explain my issues. The headpain is almost guaranteed from a sinus infection which was diagnosed today at a specialist for ear, nose and throats. I am starting Azitromax antibiotics today, 4 days cure. I have no real mental issues once my physical problems are sorted out. I feel very confident in myself - But I need to be healthy physically to live a normal life. I'll get back to you all in a few days to tell how sinuses are doing. Btw, I am doing a CT of my sinuses tomorrow, and the specialist will tell me when I can go to the hispital to do surgery to my septum-deviation (crooked nose) which is the root of the evil; Stopping airflow to the sinuses, clogging them, and also stopping airflow to my tonsils, giving them a chronic infection which _I_ believe " helped " in giving me Adrenal Fatigue. You guys rock! I really love this group! So much helpful info on here! I especially like reading Phils posts about himself cause it reminds me about my condition. Low Sodium, thick blood from low Aldosterone etc. It's good! I'm gonna go watch a movie now.. " Get Him To The Greek " and dream about one day living a crazy life like Aldous Snow myself! Thanks! I have seen this behavior in many patients. It usually means there are deeper issues that need to be addressed as well biological. Not saying jump on antidepressants, but to have some one to help sift through other issues. > > > > > > > > > > Well I just had 5 girls over for a pre-party party thing, and 2 of them were > > >all over me (I never met them before tonight), at the same time. Guest guest
I grew up in a loving family with good economy, little fighting (normal levels), and a brother and a sister. Guest guest
My life in 3 minutes! My years: * 0-12: Happy childhood, loved the 80s, great music, great toys, great cartoons and movies, lots of friends, shy with girls, but got a lot (!) of attention from them! * 12-18: Horrible period, very overweight and Hypothyroid. Got no diagnose, BUT starteed on T4 at age 18. Since age 13, I had racing heart ONLY IN THE NIGHTTIME that lasted for 2 minutes at a time, very often. * 18-29: Lost 120 lbs the first 12 months on T4, and lived a GREAT life in the next 10 years! Had long relationships with good girls, and worked, went to school. Life was good! Except all the sinus infections I had every year (5-6 of them every year, did a lot of antibiotics for this) since I was about 20. I also had the racing heart at night, but not so often as before. Only once in a while. Got used to it. *29-32: The worst period of my life. When I was 29, I met a Russian girl whom I actually married to bring her legally to Norway. Found out she was lying about her work. Yup. She wasn't a waitress, she was a CALLGIRL. At the same time, Endo's weened my Thyroid meds slowly over the next 1 & 1/2 years; Racing heart stopped racing at night! But I got worse and worse, physically, just weaker and weaker weening T4 and the T3 I was also taking at the time. Then I went to Finland and got HC and got onto T3-only and Vitamin+Mineral regime, was then adviced to see Hertoghe in Belgium, and got DHEA, Testosterone and changed synthetic thyroid for ERFA Thyroid with him. Been doing his regime for 9 months. And here I am today with my sinus issues, and high E2 and low Thyroid. Guest guest
You were the first to point this fact out. Never heard about that before. I just hear I have a deviated septum 2 years ago. Now the specialist tells me " you need to have sugery to correct it, cause it's blocking the airflow giving you tonsil and sinus infections " Maybe it's just extra stuck now (nose) while I am hypo? I still had sinus infections 5-6 a year while on optimal Thyroid 1997-2007 tho.... My head hurts BADLY. I will take Azitromax now. Is this ok while taking HC and while having thick blood? Just asking if anyone knows.
