Guest guest Posted January 5, 2002 Report Share Posted January 5, 2002 Raf it is normal to be afraid..Just know we are here for you..When I started tx I had to get on muscle relaxers because I would get so tense before a shot I would get migraines..Not everyone goes through that but I did...We are here for any fears you have or symptoms you go through..We are behind you all the way Raf..Hang in there ok!! I think we'll start the treatment rather soon. Since a week I have a girlfriend, she is going with me to the Dr., she has a lot of questions. That's normal I think. Here in Belgium there are two treatments,the last one is in an experimental stage. One is once a week and the other one is three times a week. Both are in combination with Ribaverrine. ...I just wanted to tell this. Normaly I am a rather optimistic person..but now I am a little afraid. Good evening to all of you. The treatment is a little rough on you at first, but it gets better with time. Most of us had fever, chills, and some aches at first. You can expect to feel tired all of the time. Go into this with a positive attitude...... PLEASE drink plenty of water to keep your body flushed, and also so you don't dehydrate.... This is very important to do........
