Guest guest
I'd been taking anastrozole since 2009. Within a couple days of taking some I'd get the feeling estrogen was climbing again and pretty soon would take another dose. This put me too low and I'd sometimes feel a bit flat or even tired from this and wood would disappear. That's pretty much been the situation for well over a year. I just never could dose it right. Adding DIM helped a little, but when I first tried it it almost made me feel like there was more estrogen going on. I got it to really work for me after adding DMG, which helps remove those metabolites DIM promotes and by focusing on my liver by taking zinc and lowering copper with molybdenum. This led to lowering anastrozole down to about .125 mg every 3 or so days.Sometimes I was so bad in the past, especially with the rebound effect, that I'd be taking .25 mg every other day and I've never even been on TRT. Then I added 120 mg grape seed extract (95% OPC). I'd gone too low from taking it before, but didn't know why till I read that it suppresses aromatase. This time I watched and noticed that my Arimidex needs went down. So I finally got daring and dropped all Arimidex. A few days after I'd last taken anastrozole I did notice my nipples got hard and irritated and that I felt some weird hyped up feeling late morning a couple days. So I figured I'd need more DIM and took that up from 300 to 400 mg a day (Olympian Labs, which probably doesn't absorb like Indolplex). This sort of controlled the symptoms, but things felt odd. Then I got the idea to increase grape seed and increased that to 240 mg a day. It took a couple days to start building and then it kicked in. It's been so effective that I've had to lower DIM to 200 mg. So far I'm still off Arimidex and this regime is working out better. If you're not getting good results with DIM you might want to not only try TMG or DMG but supplements that suppress aromatase like grape seed extract. I'm pleasantly surprised with it. It's said that SHBG may go up with grape seed extract. This has been a concern in the past, but I have been taking a lot of nettle root extract to block androgens from binding to SHBG, so perhaps that also makes things work. Now hopefully testosterone production will remain high enough and not come down for some reason! -Nigel
Guest guest
I think with each if us we need to get in tune with our body's. I keep a log on what I am taking and how I am feeling. I am very good at this but still with out labs I get fooled. I was doing less Test C shots went from 100 mgs every 3 days to 70 mgs every 3 days. I was doing 150 IU's of HCG the day before my next Test C shot this helped with E2 levels big time. But I feel fatigued now and it was getting bad. So I added more HCG went to 250 IU's this worked a little. This told me I need my TT levels higher. So now I am doing 80 mgs of Test C every 3 days and 300 IU's of HCG the 2 days each before my next shot. Now I am starting to feel better when I got home yesterday from walking an hour in the pool I recovered very fast and felt good most of the night. My Dr. has a good way of dealing with E2 rebounding bad he says to cut your dose down on T one shot then the next one go back up keep doing this if going down on the dose helps stay down a week or two until your E2 stops rebounding then go back up slow on your Testosterone dose.
