Hi

I am really struggling with depresion and anxiety here, thinking of trying st

j's wort until i can get diagnosed and treated.

i see the new endo in 21 days (i already saw a really good endo but can't afford

the self pay tests, so had to go on the health service) but wondered if st j w

will lower or affect any hormones it's worth avoiding for now. ? I hope the

health service endo takes the consultant endo's concerns seriously and does the

same tests; i am hoping that as the first dr i saw was so well qualified they

also agree with his opinion and at least do the tests he recommended to check me

out (these were many testss including MRI scan of pituitary, T levels, growth

hormone/IF1 (i think), karyotyping, vit d, b12 ) etc. i just hope the neew

tests these things, else really i am done for.

anyone got any thoughts on whether st j's wort could affect anything? i am

counting down the days. i've been off HC for 12 days now.

Thanks

chris
