Yes it is true that the body goes through extreme healing on this program, but loss of appetite is mainly caused by the body being in a panic/stressed so it runs on its sympathetic nervous system rather than the parasympathetic nervous system. When it is running on the sympathetic nervous system it lessens digestion to a greater or lesser degree, along with increasing other functions, like the heart and adrenals which produces adrenaline, etc. +++It is important to switch your body over to its parasympathetic nervous system when your body is so stressed by healing - do this with regular deep breathing exercises: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/breath1.php +++Also when your appetite is low it is important to go on an all- liquid diet, so it can be digested better because digestion will be poor. > > Should I be concerned about the loss of appetite? Should I still take the cconut oil even if I dont eat? > Should I force myself to eat? +++Yes, you should force yourself to eat, but don't eat raw vegetables which are hard on the digestive system, particularly when the body is so stressed by healing. Also ensure you are taking enough Betaine hydrochloric acid to help digestion. > > Of note, I have not had a natural bowel movement in a month. Also for the last 10 years I depended on glycerin suppositories to have a bowel movement. Therefore, I know my colon has forgotten how to work > properly. I just couldn't go. > > So in between the constipation, fatigue, die off I am quite miserable. I also work 12 hour shifts as a nurse. By the time I get home I am so exhausted and I need a full day in bed to recuperate, I get up at 5am and return home at 830pm. I don't know how I functioned all those years with candida. +++Have you tried taking megadoses of vitamin C for your constipation like my article states? +++You are going through such a rough time that I recommend you do the 9-Day Program, which will help you a lot: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig6.php You may need to stay on the program longer than 9 days, but do not continue with the clear water enemas past 9 days - after 9 days do enemas every 4-5 days. I hope you feel better soon. Hang in there. This too shall pass. The best in health, Bee
