Guest guest
If you feel worse stop the milk thistle see if you feel better. I don't see a problem with your Thyroid labs they are better then mine. Adding T3 can make you feel hyper and who told you your RT3 is a problem. With your labs to me this is nuts. As for you liver I don't know much about this problem but I do know liver problems can lower Testosterone levels. Maybe Hardasnails1973 can help you with this. Guest guest
Thanks, Phil. One of the 'other ' told me I have an RT3 issue and to ask the RT3 group.. I already have been down that path and HATE taking all T3 only... So, I don't have an RT3 issue? I get so confused on how to figure that out.. > > > From: alagonza2000 <alagonza2000@...> > > Subject: RT3 Issue/ EBV > > > > Date: Saturday, March 19, 2011, 10:45 AM > > I have been off cortisol for over 4 > > weeks now and did a 8am blood cortisol test this week and > > have my saliva test to complete tomorrow and mail on > > Monday. > > > > My question is " RT3 " . Guest guest
All I can say is a lot of people going to them sites thinking there RT3 is a problem send me Emails or PM messages about how bad they feel on T3 only meds and don't know what to do about it. Hardasnails has people coming to him that ended up in the ER over this crap. If you can't find a Dr. that will say your RT3 is to high and needs to be fixed leave it alone. Mine has been very high after having Heart Bypass Surgery yet my Total T4 and Free T3 levels are OK don't show me having a problem. Today I am in a lot of pain from damage to my muscles from being on Statin Drugs and even need pain pills. So now this keeps my RT3 levels up. Do I need to Take T3 only meds to lower them NO I need to fix my pain. I spend a lot of money on supplements to undo the damage done by Statin Drugs and it's a slow process. If I added a mess of T3 only to all this I would just be more worse off. http://www.custommedicine.com.au/health-articles/reverse-t3-dominance/ Co-Moderator Phil > From: alagonza2000 <alagonza2000@...> > Subject: Re: RT3 Issue/ EBV > > Date: Saturday, March 19, 2011, 11:09 AM > Thanks, Phil. > > One of the 'other ' told me I have an RT3 issue > and to ask the RT3 group.. Guest guest
Interesting article because my Metamatrix Ion Panel showed low zinc, selenium B12, B6, CoQ10. Due to that other group about adrenals I stopped the zinc & selenium- have learned the hard way the liver needs these! I stopped these two because of being told they would cause more rt3 or lower my cortisol. This is my fault for listening to them and not my body.. Maybe just a good multivitamin would have helped.. Thanks again, Phil. > > > > > > > From: alagonza2000 <alagonza2000@> > > > > Subject: RT3 Issue/ EBV > > > > > > > > Date: Saturday, March 19, 2011, 10:45 AM > > > > I have been off cortisol for over 4 > > > > weeks now and did a 8am blood cortisol test this > > week and > > > > have my saliva test to complete tomorrow and mail > > on > > > > Monday. > > > > > > > > My question is " RT3 " . Guest guest
I assume you're on Nature-Throid as you said NT, no? Maybe the cellulose filler is interfering a bit. You could take more thyroid, or you could try an enzyme to break down the cellulose. I take Candex to do this and think my Nature-Throid dose is way more effective. When I even dissolve the tablets in my mouth before swallowing but don't take the enzyme things don't work so well. This cellulose isn't going to just disappear if you chew your tablets up. Some options are here: http://forums.realthyroidhelp.com/viewtopic.php?f=2 & t=19055 The reason I bring this up is for some reason ones simply raising new Armour or Nature-Throid to compensate for the evil cellulose filler seem to have problems where more doesn't quite work. Another option is NP Thyroid, which has no cellulose filler. Let us know your adrenal results. Does the P5P help with anxiety? I'm back on NOW Foods ubiquinol daily and like the stuff. I say forget the inactive stuff sold most of the time and stick with the active form. I get very very ill and tired on regular coQ10. -Nigel On 19 March 2011 09:45, alagonza2000 <alagonza2000@...> wrote: > > > I have been off cortisol for over 4 weeks now and did a 8am blood cortisol > test this week and have my saliva test to complete tomorrow and mail on > Monday. > > My question is " RT3 " . Guest guest
Yes I have been telling people for long time that even though they have good intentions, it may not be the right information and very dangerous. They are not health professionals of any kind. Val has no medical experience. I have recieved several PMs and emails from people in the past that ended up in the hospital from some of her recommendations. Proper nutritonal evaluations are a huge part of recovery programs for our patients. Being a nutritional guru, I have helped several people just through proper nutritional and cellular balancing. Low minerals may not be due to supplementation but due to other factors. With this nutrients low it would raise a huge red flag to potential GI imbalance which needs to be furthered investigated. > > > > > > > > > From: alagonza2000 <alagonza2000@> > > > > > Subject: RT3 Issue/ EBV > > > > > > > > > > Date: Saturday, March 19, 2011, 10:45 AM > > > > > I have been off cortisol for over 4 > > > > > weeks now and did a 8am blood cortisol test this > > > week and > > > > > have my saliva test to complete tomorrow and mail > > > on > > > > > Monday. > > > > > > > > > > My question is " RT3 " . Guest guest
Nigel- If I increase the NT (yes, Naturethroid) my pulse goes up. I just started a co-enzymated B6 yesterday and today I had migraines... I called my doctor and he told me to stop taking it.. ZRT should have received my saliva test today and I will post my adrenal results when I get them. I have not heard of " Candex " but will look into it... I agree with Hardasnails- I believe I do have a GI problem... > > > > > > > I have been off cortisol for over 4 weeks now and did a 8am blood cortisol > > test this week and have my saliva test to complete tomorrow and mail on > > Monday. > > > > My question is " RT3 " . Guest guest
It may well be your feeling hyper going up on your NT Thyroid meds. When I go hyper my heart rate goes up with it's bad I sweat heart beats hard and my BP goes up taking my Temps avg. it's high. Best when your not yet leveled to take your Temps avg and chart it. You can feel a little hyper going up on your dose but in about a week you will fall back. If your labs for Free T3 are below mid range you should be OK but don't go up to high on your dose it can stress your Adrenals. I would only go up 15 mgs at a time after I was on 90 mgs I held this for 8 weeks and then did labs if I was not feel good and labs were low I went up 15 mgs more. I could not go up more then 15 mgs I felt hyper every time. Follow whats in this link about tracking your temps for Adrenals and Thyroid. http://www.drrind.com/therapies/metabolic-temperature-graph Co-Moderator Phil > From: alagonza2000 <alagonza2000@...> > Subject: Re: RT3 Issue/ EBV > > Date: Wednesday, March 23, 2011, 5:14 PM > Nigel- > > If I increase the NT (yes, Naturethroid) my pulse goes up. > > I just started a co-enzymated B6 yesterday and today I had > migraines...
