Guest guest
always apply T gel before test 3 hours prior to get peak as well as your e2, not applying the DHEA gel 2-3 night prior will result in giving false readings of e2 readings because it may being converted into e2. b-12 low is probably due to malabsorption issues which makes sense. If b-12 is serum and it is low then you have severe absorption issues. Guest guest
I can't say your T levels are low most of use test the morning before putting on the cream or gel then put it on after. Your stopping it a few days before your labs so I can't tell. Your Dr. has you do this because he knows what he needs to see. Your E2 is very high. Guest guest
What? I just told you I put the gel on in the 3 evenings before blood draw instead of in the mornings like I normally do. Why do you Think I am stopping it? Diane at the Adrenals group just told me my E2 is good. I never really saw E2 in the upper part of the range before so I say it's too high. Guest guest
what medical/clinical experience does Diane have LOL? I only know a few female HRT specialist that known their stuff. When you have 2 veterans in the field. One 3000+ clincal hours, and both have been dealing with HRT issues on personal level for several years. Who's more credible? No brainer..eh.. if your e2 is at top of range ready and you are at the trough, more test = more e2 common sense especially with low to mid normal SHBG > > > From: <gibcast@...> > > Subject: Latest hormone labs.. > > " " < > > > Date: Tuesday, March 22, 2011, 6:25 AM > > 11th of March 2011: > > > > Free T3 5.8 (3.6 - 8.3 pmol/l) > > Free T4 9.4 (8 - 20 pmol/l) > > TSH 0.72 (0.5 - 3.6 mIE/l) > > Anti-TPO <10 (< 35 kIE/l) > > S-Testosterone 18.3 (8,0 - 35,0 nmol/l) - Did not apply > > gel/DHEA in the evening 2-3 evenings before drawing blood. > > Applied gel/took DHEA as normal in the mornings. Guest guest
Here's how you convert estradiol: http://www.globalrph.com/conv_si.htm 0.13 (0,06 - 0,14 nmol/l) = 35.4 (16-38 pg/mL) I get how you applied the testosterone. If you'd taken testosterone closer to the blood draw I'd imagine testosterone would be higher and possibly estradiol as well. Either way, that's heaps of estradiol. I too wonder if the DHEA capsules are causing more problems as they easily drive up estradiol. Do you take B12, ? -Nigel On 22 March 2011 15:01, philip georgian <pmgamer18@...> wrote: > > > Tom, > > Do this convert your units for Estraidol into pg/ml and we can tell you if > your good. > > Co-Moderator > Phil > > > > > > > From: <gibcast@...> > > > Subject: Latest hormone labs.. > > > " " > > < > > > > Date: Tuesday, March 22, 2011, 6:25 AM > > > 11th of March 2011: > > > > > > Free T3 5.8 (3.6 - 8.3 pmol/l) > > > Free T4 9.4 (8 - 20 pmol/l) > > > TSH 0.72 (0.5 - 3.6 mIE/l) > > > Anti-TPO <10 (< 35 kIE/l) > > > S-Testosterone 18.3 (8,0 - 35,0 nmol/l) - Did not > > apply > > > gel/DHEA in the evening 2-3 evenings before drawing > > blood. > > > Applied gel/took DHEA as normal in the mornings. Guest guest
just stop the dhea night before the blood draw. This is probably why you can not stablize for christ sakes because your not getting accurate e2 results. your e2 is this high 3 days with out dhea, what that hell is it will it ? Some times these drs do not use common sense. In the mean time patient suffers. Guest guest
Thanks for understanding Nigel! I don't take any other B12 than the 200 mcg I get daily in my 2 x Labs Stress-Plex! I know this is not a lot. I have had B12 deficiency many times over the years. When I say deficiency I mean values lese than optimal. I am now at what.. 420? This is not optimal. I guess I have absorption issues. Maybe I should do B12 shots? Or sublinguals? Which have less side effects? Is it true hypokalemia is a side effect from taking a lot of B12? I will apply the Testosterone gel as well as take the DHEA capsules in the evening instead of in the morning in the 3 days before next time I draw blood for a hormone panel. I think my lack of Desire proves My E2 is too high. I probably have other sides from high E2 as well. Red eyes is one side right? Sendt fra min iPhone Den 22. mars 2011 kl. 21.40 skrev Nigel <nachonigel@...>: Here's how you convert estradiol: http://www.globalrph.com/conv_si.htm 0.13 (0,06 - 0,14 nmol/l) = 35.4 (16-38 pg/mL) I get how you applied the testosterone. -Nigel On 22 March 2011 15:01, philip georgian <pmgamer18@...> wrote: Tom, Do this convert your units for Estraidol into pg/ml and we can tell you if your good. Guest guest
Thanks for the tip! How is Jarrows sublingual B12? I choose sublinguals by flavor as I hate berry-flavors! I must have vanilla for example.
