Guest guest
The last time I had it checked it was 20 which was under the low range of 22. Interestingly enough, my serum Iron was above the normal range. I don't recall the exact reading. She obviously does not have a clue about the thyroid. You should get Nature-throid if you want natural thyroid meds. Make sure you check for reverse t3 tested along with free t3. > > Sky > > ____________ _________ _________ __ > From: noonanjg <jgnoonancomcast (DOT) net> > > Sent: Sun, 14 February, 2010 8:06:55 AM > Subject: Re: Weird Results > >  > At my behest, my dr. started me on Cytomel which helped a bit but she discontinued it because it sent my TSH to almost nothing. I've talked to her about natural thryoid meds (Armour etc) and she is not a fan and won't prescribe them. > > Joe > >
Guest guest
I am not a Dr. but I have been down your road and your can read my story at this link. http://forums.realthyroidhelp.com/viewtopic.php?f=5 & t=9239 And the update on my heart sugary. I need to tell you I found out my heart had blockages in it because I had Heartburn and acid reflux omeprazole helped but you can't take this for life it lowers your digestion and you don't get the proper Vit.'s and Minerals out out your food this adds to the problem. I told my Dr. to test my heart we did a stress test at the time I was very short of breath but have been like this for yrs. do to the fatigue I felt. I did not last long on the stress test tread mill yet the RAI die the shoot into me and took pictures showed nothing. So I asked for a better test they did a 24 bit scan on my heart and found two 99% blockages. This was why I had Heartburn and adid reflux I was a waking time bomb. Anyway something to think about my blockages were very old and I was told they were there a long time. Your having to care for your sick father and being sick your self I would test your Cortisol levels doing a 4x's in a day Saliva test you can get this your self and read about it in this link. http://livingnetwork.co.za/hormones/adrenal-fatigue/ Doing this will show if you have Adrenal Insufficiency. Here is a link showing the stages of this. If you have this problem and it's very possible you do your Thyroid meds will not work right you need Cortisol to carry the hormone out of your blood into our cells. It is nuts to put people on Thyroid meds without testing this. http://www.chronicfatigue.org/ASI%201%20.html Most people I know with low Testosterone levels and under the stress of this let alone taking care of a sick loved one has this problem. You can read how I got started treating this problem and my Thyroid in this link. http://forums.realthyroidhelp.com/viewtopic.php?f=5 & t=24 People with low Thyroid end up with low Ferritin mine was low and my Iron levels never showed this I went on Iron pills and let me tell you after about 3 months on them I felt so dam much better even with the heart problems. http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ferritin/ I went on this taking one pills 2x's a day with Vit. C to being my levels back up as per my Dr. http://www.walgreens.com/store/catalog/Minerals/Ferrous-Fumarate-324-mg/ID=prod1\ 194792 & navCount=0 & navAction=push-product http://www.myvitanet.com/supbiocbuf36.html You might meed to check your Folate serum levels I was below normal and B-12 was low. It's not low TSH that dose in ones heart it's low or to high of a level of the Thyroid hormones. http://www.mythyroid.com/heartdisease.html As for you shots 150 a weeks is a big shot you would do better breaking it up into 2 x's a week or every 3 days doing this I feel better more leveled and it holds down my Estradiol levels and helps keep my blood thinner. Until you test your adrenals or Cortisol levels I would not over do it exercising this just stress's your adrenals even more if they are bad. If you could post your labs it would help us see how your doing on TRT.
