Guest guest
I didn't understand why anyone would want to feel like an 70 year old when you can keep your quality of life and feel alive. TRT has given me back that part of life low T had taken away. If your set on this, I would seek a Doc's help. I have a friend that tried to come off TRT and he suffered deep depression and a host of other issues. Please seek a doctor help... Guest guest
Hello All, What are the symptoms of High Hematocrit and Hemoglobin Levels ? I too am on Testo Cypionate and I was doing 160 mg every 10days and I started having pain in the chest, left arm and also in the back left side (around left shoulder blade). I went to a cardiologist and threadmill stress test and also echo cardiogram looked good. My bloodtests revealed that my vit D is low and also my Homocystine levels are borderline high so my doc put me on vit d and also B6,B12,Folic acid supplementation. I am also Hypothyroid and am on Synthroid 88mcg. He did not check for Hemoglobin etc What do you think about my condition ? I lowered my Test Cyp to 60mg every week. After reading this thread ........I am also concerned. My doc will be back only on Monday. Please advise. Thank you Joe > > > > > > > > > > > > What reactiona should I expect and when? Guest guest
Hello Phil, Barb and all others, I need your suggestion please. I called Red Cross and wanted to schedule an appointment to donate blood and they asked me if I am taking any blood thinners and I told I am taking " NattoKainese " (blood thinner) and they said I cant donate blood. I stopped my regular dose of 160mg evey ten days of Test Cyp about a month ago and started on 60mg of Test Cyp every week. (kind of lowered my dose). I also scheduled an appointment with my doctor again this week. Can I stop taking Testo Cyp for a while and see if my blood thickness will eventually go down to normal ? But I feel kind of dizzy and wondering if I have any issues with any thick blood. What do you think are my options. Thanks JOe > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > What reactiona should I > > > > expect and when? Guest guest
Wait, what? Do you even know if you have thick blood? I know you were dealing with high estradiol and the shoulder pain, but you never mentioned the thick blood. Do you have a recent CBC that shows elevated red blood cells, hemoglobin, or hematocrit? That is the definition of thick blood. Dizziness can be a hypo sign, or low BP. If you stop your TC and you need it, you will crash with major fatigue. You've already lowered your dose as it is; I would want more labs before deciding to change anything. Since you're already got a doc apt scheduled, run a CBC, check your testosterone levels 3 days after your shot, get thyroid levels checked (free T3, free T4, reverse T3, TSH), full iron panel with ferritin, and run a morning cortisol. If I remember correctly, you've already done some of these, so no need to repeat unless you've changed something. You HAVE changed your testosterone dose, so do need to check that and the CBC. I'm going to start another post about thick blood because I think and his docs have everyone totally confused now. Guest guest
Phil, Barb, BV and all of you, Thank you for all your responses. I really appreciate them. I went to my GP this evening and he said, first and foremost ...we'll do a CBC, Iron panel with Ferritin etc. So I left a bloodsample and will wait till tomorrow or day after for the results. After that, he said he will give his opinion and from there we can proceed. So, for now .........I am just hanging in here. Will continue my Thyroid and Vit D, B Complex and other meds and vitamins. Will keep you posted with all updates. Thank you all once again. Joe > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > What > > reactiona should I > > > > > > expect and when? Guest guest
Hello Phil, Barb and all others, I called my doctor's office and they told my Hemoglobin is 0.2% above the normal range and for this negligible elevation they said they dont recommand blood drawing. Rest all others are in range. I will get a copy of the report soon and will post the results. But my left arm is still painful, kind of pulling on the shoulder .... feeling and what else do you think it might be ? I will be seeing my Thyroid doc on Thursday and so hopefully he will go deep into what else it might be. My GP expressed that it may be Costochondritis but wanted to wait on the labs. I have been taking Nattokianese two times a day and I am wondering if I can stop them now and wait a while and donate blood once in a while to make sure. Thank You All and I will keep you posted. Guest guest
Do you happen to spoon with your wife, with her resting on your left arm? We thought that might be a factor in DH's case, and the pain did clear up more when he started facing the other way. Any chance you could've hurt it throwing a ball, working, or something? I have heard other hypothyroids report costochondritis on other forums. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > What > > > > > reactiona should I > > > > > > > > > expect and when?
