Hi,

I make a soap with just your basic oils, Palm, Olive,

Coconut etc, noting to greasy. To this I add (per

pound batch) 1tbsp powdered kelp, 1tbsp lemongrass EO,

1 tbsp Tea Tree EO and 1tbsp Lavender EO. I sell this

to a girlfriend who has suffered from Back Acne for

the last 6 years and this is the only thing that has

helped!

Good luck.

PS This soap *stinks*, the EO's help but kelp is not a

nice scent! he he

Marcelle,

Thanks for the great site! I'm not sure i'm ready to

try it yet, but

it's in my favorites to look at later after I've

mastered soap.

Maybe you can help me with another situation. My son

has acne on his

face and back. We're looking for a soap recipe and

any other

toiletries that may help. Any suggestions?

This recipe sounds good. I would have said to use any

basic recipe. I probably would not superfat the

recipe. I would use tea tree for it's antibacterial

qualities. Somebody mentioned something recently that

was an astringent. (Can't remember what it was.)

Would have recommended that, too, if I could remember

what it was! :-)

Has this girl tried a back brush? I couldn't live without mine.

Just in case nothing speeds up your detox, can you convince the bride to allow

you to wear a nice shrug or a sheer scarf around your shoulders and knotted in

the back? She should have some sympathy for your situation.

Hi ,

I like 's idea of the shrug to cover it up. Also, have you tried applying

cod liver oil to your pimples? Cod liver oil is a bit astringent and can

sometimes help, but of course, it's not a cure.

there's anything I can put on my back that would help, but not be as toxic as

acne meds.

my first thought would be applying coconut oil topically. It is antiviral &

anti bacterial. Maybe it will help clear up skin before the wedding?

How bad is it are you sure it's Acne and not hives. Sometimes after doing a

shot of test C or HCG I will get a few hives. All you can do is leave them

alone. Yes high E2 can make Acne act up but too much T can too.
