I too would suggest a full iron panel, which is TIBC, serum iron and saturation in addition to ferritin, which is storage iron. I take a baby asprin 2x's per day and drink a good 90 oz's of water with Sea Salt / day. He said even on Iron pills your levels will fall very low.
