Guest guest
TSH moves up and down never stays the same as your body needs more Thyroid your brain tells it to make more with the message of TSH. If your body has enough Thyroid your TSH will be on the lower end of the range. If your body needs more and your levels test low your TSH will be higher a red flag going up is when your over 2. The same thing works for LH and FSH this is a message from your brain to your testis that tell it to make more Testosterone. If your on TRT this will be very low or shut down. Not on TRT it can go high but if your Total T levels stay low with higher LH and FSH it can mean your Testis are not working can't make Testosterone. If your Total T levels are low with a low LH and FSH this can mean your Pituitary is not telling your testis to make Testosterone and something is wrong with it. A bad head injury can do this. Guest guest
I know about the TSH but I was talking about my first Thyroid panel from 1997, when TSH was 0.98: Maybe this was the highest TSH I could do, since I was plain, off meds, and just being myself naturally at the time - VERY overweight, slow and freezing cold. HYPO. I was thinking, if I could push my TSH up to 1.4, which it was this summer when I quit ERFA Thyroid for 2 days cold turkey (Hertoghe thought I was overdosed due to vibration in my right leg/chest!), maybe it means there is more juice in my body NATURALLY than we all think? The less amount of meds I am on, the better. If I feel good without them, that is. I will take anything I need to feel better, BUT I hate side-effects. Hate them! Can't relax when I always get side-effects! NOW It's getting interesting, with LH and FSH. See, from 1997 to 2010, FSH has never been above 2, to my knowledge. The range is <12 U/L for FSH. Shouldn't FSH be higher than 2 to give the body what it needs!?!? LH was, however, as high as 7 in 2006. Range: <12 U/L for LH. So a 7 is great, if I am not mistaken. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? A FSH at max 2 and a LH at max 7, while taking T4/T3 back in 1997-2008? My " Free Testosterone Index " has ALWAYS been top range; At 9.2 or 9.9. The higher the " Free Testosterone Index " , the more man you are, according to one of my doctors here in Norway. Which is true. But they seem to ONLY focus on the " Free Testosterone Index " here in NORWAY. In Belgium, at Hertoghe's clinic, they wanna see a high " Testosterone " and a high " Free Testosterone " . Let's first sort out what the differencies between the different analyses are in the differnet countries. We've got USA, Belgium and Norway. Norway:S-TestosteroneFree Testosterone Index (Testosterone (nmol/l) x 10/SHBG (nmol/l)) Belgium:TestosteroneFree TestosteroneBound Testosterone USA:Free TestosteroneTotal TestosteroneWhat else? I am pretty sure my LH level (at up to 7!) in 2006 made my testis work great. (What about the FSH tho? at max 2?) I had amazing erections every day and night, and a lot of elaculate (volume) and everything was just flawless! Until til I tried TRT this spring. We need to sort this out! My S-Testosterone (What's this called in the USA?) which they test in Norway, was mid-range at 22 (8 - 35) but never above that, in my 20s. IS THIS ENOUGH TESTOSTERONE FOR A 20-30 YO? Seems to me like on optimal Thyroid, I was getting decent amounts of Testosterone made. I still need to find out if that " Free Testosterone Index " which always was in the very top of the range means everywathing was perfect with me. > From: <gibcast@...> > Subject: Theories: Why did I Get Hypothyroid symptoms 18 years ago? > " " < > > Date: Tuesday, September 7, 2010, 7:17 AM > I will repost here what I posted in > thr natral thyroid hormones adrenals group! > > Original post: > > I will not discuss Hypothyroidism from mercury in my tissue > or hypothyroidism from low iodine now. Guest guest
I don't think your understanding me. TSH tells your Thyroid to make Thyroid Hormones if your TSH is low and your Total and Free T3 and T4 are low it means your brain your Pituitary is not working right your low and your brain is not telling your Thyroid to make more because the number is so low. Now if your TSH is very high and your Thyroid levels are all low it means your Thyroid is not workng. If your on Thyroid meds your TSH should be low. Mine was at .1 Now for Testosterone same thing if your S Testosterone here I feel it's Total Testosterone is low and your LH and FSH are low it means your Pituitary in your brain is not telling your testis to make Testosterone. You if your LH and FSH are high and your Testosterone is low you do need the test all this at the same thime it means your testis are not working. LH turns on and off very fast so FSH is a better mesure. Now lets talk about Free T Free Testosterone is a about 1 to 2% of all the T in your body so if your S or Total Testosterone is low with a high Free T it means nothing 1 to 2% of a low number is not much. This is why Dr.'s dose your meds by Total or S Testosterone if your levels are high and your Free T is up there this is good. But you can have higher levels of T or S Testosterone with low Free T. This can happen with a higher level of Estradiol and SHBG binds up your Testosterone and none of it is Free to work.
