Guest guest
Phil, Pigeons and a few Quail. I raise and fly Birmingham Rollers mostly. When they fly they spin backwards so fast that that they look like a spinning ball falling through the air. Hopefully they stop before they hit the ground! LOL Usually 10 to 30 feet is common but some will go much deeper. I also have Komornor Tumblers a show breed and a few Racing Homers in rare colors. I don't race them just playing with the rare colors and patterns. Mostly the pigeons feed there own pretty good but once in a while one will get behind his nest mate and may need a little extra to catch him up. They raise two in the nest at the same time. Brett Re: Needle Disposal Brett what kind of birds do you raise or hand feed. I use to do this with my Cockitels and use to own a African Gray. I love birds but it's a lot of work to care for them the right way. Co-Moderator Phil
