Guest guest
Phil, Thanks for your prompt response to my intial quest(I copied my original post, its below yours here) ..sorry I didn't include more detail originally re: my numbers. They are:  3 weeks ago: total testosterone: 200 free testosterone: 0.5 ng/dl  Have had one injection a week for last two weeks. I tested on my own Weds:  total testosterone: 1060 ng/dl free testosterone: still pending @ lab (will be anxious to get this) Estradiol: 53.9 pg/ml (how high is this??....I feel very bloated and breasts sore, also no change in drive or wood). I am going to ask doc about Arimidex. Do these levels warrant that?  Tomorrow I am supposed to be schooled on how to give injections myself, and he said he would start spacing the injections out to 10-14 days vs. once a week. In two weeks I am meeting with a specialist, fingers crossed I can get in with the one you mentioned.  Thanks for your input!  5b. Re: suggestion for Atlanta    Posted by: " philip georgian " pmgamer18@... pmgamer18    Date: Fri Aug 6, 2010 8:04 am ((PDT)) Hi Atl Fuzzy and Welcome, I don’t know how low your Testosterone levels are or how high your Estradiol E2 is. If I were you I would get the E2 down and redo labs see if your T levels come back up. Some times getting E2 down your T levels can come back up some 200 to 300 points and if you were not to low this gets you feeling better. Here are some links about this. http://www.medibolics.com/ArimidexBoostsTestosterone.htm http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/89/3/1174 In the above link what is going on here is E2 is made from T when the brain sees high levels of E2 it can't tell if it's T or E2. So it thinks high levels of E2 are T and slows down sending the LH and FSH messages to your testis that tells them to make more T and you end up lower. .............................................>>  my original message: > From: Atl Fuzzy <atlfuzzy@...> > Subject: suggestion for Atlanta > > Date: Thursday, August 5, 2010, 10:29 PM > Greetings from Atlanta! > > 44 year old, just discovered very high estradiol and very > low testosterone. Guest guest
OK if you did labs a week after your last shot this is up there but it looks to me like you did them about 4 to 5 days after your last shot. It's best to do shots every week doing them every 2 weeks is very old and does not work very well. Your up after the shot only to fall to low by the next one. When T levels fall to low this is when we feel like crap. Doing shots puts you on a roller coaster ride. At Dr. 's site www.allthingsmale.com read TRT: A Recipe for Success and his HCG Update he puts this out there free for you and your Dr. Dr. is one of the best male hormone Dr.'s out there. Yes your estradiol is to high it's best you start with .5 mgs every other day.
