Guest guest
My doctor prescribes 3mL 23gX1 syringes. I draw the T into that, and then changed the needle to a 25gX1 for the injection. I have been doing it every three days on the same side glute for quite a while now with no problems. I buy my 25gX1 needles online from one of the many sources. I have also used insulin syringes in my shoulder. Those might be a bit short to get intramuscular into the glute. Although, some on here recommend sub Q as being equally effective. Guest guest
I find that thigh injections are painful. No pain in my butt. I guess you just have to experiment to see what works best for you. Guest guest
Some guys prefer to do it in the morning. I have heard that it can interfere with sleep. I have never had that problem though. If you don't know yet, you might wait until morning. On Mon, Mar 14, 2011 at 5:35 PM, Barb <baba@...> wrote: > > > I give DH his butt injections after dinner, after work every 5 days. Guest guest
Applying Androgel/testim in the evening may cause problems with sleeping for some people (it did for me when I first started, but after a while, it didn't bother me anymore), but I have never had a problem with shots at any time of the day. The shots typically take 24-72 hours before they start to take effect anyway, so it doesn't really matter when you do the shot. However, for your first shot, I would do it at least an hour before going to sleep just to make sure that you are not going to have some sort of unexpected allergic reaction. Guest guest
Hi Charlie, You definitely store your HCG in the fridge. You definitely do NOT store your Testosterone in the fridge. Guest guest
Hi Charlie, I guess I don't understand why Chilln would say that either. Chilln is very good and I have learned a lot from his posts, but I disagree with storing Testosterone Cypionate in the refrigerator. When Test C is cold, it can form crystals (I had a whole bottle crystallize once and even after rolling it in my hands and letting it sit at room temperature, the crystals did not go away - my pharmacist told me to exchange the bottle). Also, when Test C is cold, it is more difficult to withdraw from the bottle and more difficult to inject. I would be interested to see if there was a reason that Chilln made that statement or if it was simply an oversight. As long as there are no visible crystals in the bottle, I am sure you did no damage. From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Charlie Sheets Sent: Monday, March 14, 2011 11:07 PM Subject: Re: Help with understanding injecting myself I don't know why that person I linked below would say to store my test in the fridge when several websites say: TESTOSTERONE CYPIONATE STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat, light and moisture as directed. Do not store in the bathroom. The vial may be warmed by rolling it in your hands to dissolve crystals if they form I stored it in the fridge for about 2 hours. I took it out but hope I didnt do any to jeopordize the potency of it. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > From: Charlie Sheets > > > > > > > <buckeye8084@> > > > > > > > > > > > Subject: Help with > > > > > > > understanding > > > > > > > > > injecting myself > > > > > > > > > > > <mailto: %40> > > <mailto: %40> > > > > > > > > > > > Date: Monday, March 14, 2011, 2:35 PM > > > > > > > > > > > Hi guys, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Phil sent me a link to > > > > > > > spotinjections.com before > > > > > > > > > and it was > > > > > > > > > > > helpful. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Could you direct me on what I need to > > > > > > > do to > > > > > > > > > inject 120mg's > > > > > > > > > > > of test cyp one time and then 60 mg a > > > > > > > week there > > > > > > > > > after? Guest guest
Are you sure he said he keeps his Test C in the fridge I don't think so it will crystallize on you and you will need to heat it up to get it liquid again. Yes keep Growth Hormones and HCG in the fridge but not your Test C for shots. Guest guest
Test C has a long shelf life at room temperature. If you read the manufacturer's recommendation for most injectible TRT products, it is recommended to heat it up in your hand if it is viscous from a cool temperature. There is no reason to refrigerate it. Guest guest
I have been doing shots for yrs there is no advantage to using a larger needle other then it loads faster. Even Dr. Shippen now uses a very small Insulin needle to do his shots. He now dose shots of Depo T every 3 days and shoots subQ half the shot on one side then the other half on the other side in the same day every 3 days. If you like pain use a bigger needle.
